hillary supporters to have their own whips at the convention

Post by stilltrucking » August 23rd, 2008, 8:40 am

It breaks my heart
To think how Richard M Nixon stuggled so valiantly to defend the honor of the ex-presidency and to see how Bill Clinton has disgraced the office.

Tell me was there ever a man as pssy whipped as him?

The worse thing is even if he helps her steal the nomination I would still have to vote for the Democrat. Still better than McCain.

Is that a Hobson's choice? I think so.

Biden a real smart guy, a foreign policy expert

He voted for the war on Iraq. Bloody handed son of a bitch. Another senator like Hillary who went along with the war to get along. But at least he had enough class to say he was wrong.

Oh well I wish them luck.

Here is who would have been my pick, a woman.

Senator Barbara Mikulski from maryland, somehow she was smart enough to vote against that war.

I want to spit,
I don't think Hillary could still steal the nomination at this late date. But it sure sounds like they are going to try. All the newspapers refer to Obama as the "presumed" democratic candidate. So maybe it is not chisled in stone.

ST, my darling, the day Hilary steals the nomination through her obvious whoring out of her whore husband (whom I must confess a slight crush on) is the day I become an assassin. There is no way the American people could allow such an atrocity. Oh wait, I am talking about the people who have given the highest seat of the free world to a Bush... THREE TIMES. So, that being said, do you know where I can get a quality sniper rifle at an affordable price? Honestly I think that Biden is enough of a heavy hitter to reel in the rest of the naysayers (However comical it may be that he has opted to play second banana to a man he repeatedly called "inexperienced"). I can only hope the awful ploy of Septuagenarian Senator John McCain to pick a VP candidate whose amount of sympathy cards in her deck (son with DS, son in the military, mother of five, woman, etc.) is numerous will be the thing to bring about his ultimate defeat so that he can go home and enjoy some quality time with the remains of his ravaged skin cells. (Bad joke, I know, but I hope you won't hate me for it.) Was this a reply or a tirade? Perhaps both. Simultaneously.

Hillary has clearly expressed her support for Obama in a gracious and honorable manner. She has asked all those who voted for her in the primaries to vote for Obama. Bill Clinton has stated the same. Both of their speeches at the Democratic convention were riveting and inspiring.

The Clintons truly seek unity in both the party and the country.

I'm sure Hillary Clinton will be given a major role in the Obama White House should he win the election (fingers crossed, prayers sent, hope embraced).

Hillary Clinton stinks.
She's a two-faced bitch, wannabee queen, still seeking solace from Bill's betrayals which she allowed to become her own self-betrayals. She is bonafide damaged goods, who preferred to stay damaged rather than move on to her own inner freedom and potential.
Bill's required payback to her, of getting her nominated didn't pan out so now she is probably really pissed.
Do I think she will undermine the democratic party, and favor McCain so that in 4 years she can get the spot? Damn right I do.
She is dangerous.
Her comment about Palin was totally remarkable....it seemed to say that she was not what we want at all for running this country, but it also said that she was the one, in that hillary said she would, "add an interesting voice to the process, since she is a female".
Bitch. Also traitor.

I don't entirely forgive the votes of those Congresspeople who voted for the Iraq resolution in 2002 I suppose, but I'm one of the few people inclined to give some leeway on the matter. The rush to war in Iraq was an all-out political bum-rush and orchestrated fraud by the Bush Admin., a deliberate attempt to swindle us, to mock and devalue our "patriotism".

I don't care if Bush were to invent a car that runs on water tomorrow. What he and his band of murdering, lying thieves have done is just unforgivable. Fuck him. I haven't listened to a damned word he's said for at least four years now. He long ago lost that privilege with me. How dare Bush show up so promptly in the Gulf coast storm this time around, mumbling so earnestly, as the GOP paints itself compassionate-- just another photo opp. Like Hes says, are we really that stupid?

The Iraq resolution was an authorization to use military force as a last resort. Remember the timing also. It was just a year past 9/11, and there was a lot of (authentic, if somewhat misguided) uncertainty about security. Like LR said, sometimes the biggest lies are the most believable. It took some intuition to see through the fraud and to understand that Bush never had any other intention beside war. I'd like to think that all of our Congresspeople have these intuitive powers to go along with political parsing, but they were and are human, and tried to vote both their conscience and what a jittery constituency demanded. Those buffeting national winds were hard to negotiate.

To me it's more important where they stand now, six years later, with all that has been revealed. Biden and Hillary pass this test. People like McCain and Lieberman do not. My $0.02 on the subject.

kayla, I totally appreciate your humor here as I always do

here's a thought though

the statement about the sniper rifle.......

I think you are on delicate ground here. The Secret Service is not noted for its sense of humor. I have heard (recently) of them arresting guys who got drunk in a bar and were gun nuts shooting their drunken mouths off about killing the prez or Obama.

far be it from me to ask anyone to self censor, and I love risky humor, but you might want to think about this joke.

You might have undercover agents emailing you about guns for sale. If they claim to be 13 years old, watch out. It's a trap. haha

i think hillary ought to step up and state to america that palin is bad news whether she's a woman or not. this transparent artifice by mccain to woo the disenchanted should not be left to ride uncontested. hillary owes it to her supporters, especially the women, to expose palin's overtures as the crap that they are. i've said it before - any woman who votes for mccain/palin deserves to be underpaid - and will be. eva braun was a woman - would you vote for her just because she's a woman?

has anyone seen the videos of Palin shooting an automatic rifle?
it's part of her cred. They should call her Paladin.

I can just see the scene when her daughter announced her pregnancy.
"I think I should have an abortion, mom. I'm too young to have a child and my baby-daddy is so last week."
Slap. "Don't even think about it, you WILL marry him and you WILL have this child. My political career depends on it."

Flash to Sarah holding her AK-47 to baby-daddy's head.
"On Your Knees!"
"Propose to my daughter."

Shotgun wedding if I ever saw one.

I love that you are looking out for me. You take this shoulder, I'll take that one. No but really, given some of the things that I have said in the past, I should like to think that a fake threat on Hillary's life would be the least of my troubles. Besides, I like Hillary for the most part, really, I do. I mean sure, when they were battling it out for the party nomination, I did wear my "Bros before Hos" shirt like every day, but it was all in good fun. And I think that a joke like that made by a lifelong democrat should certainly go under the radar considering what they have to deal with on a regular basis protecting Obama from sudden death. The security around his house is getting a little obscene. As I mentioned in my head cold post, he lives right down the street from me, and there is a church across the street from his house. They have started putting up those metal barricades all around the perimeter of the church, as well as a concrete blockade so that you can't drive along greenwood (his street) on Sundays. And there are (along with the typical service detail) two cops in a marked car stationed at the corner. It's getting so that you can't so much as take an evening stroll down 51st for fear that you will be considered suspicious and arrested on site. But really, the thing is, I'm on a public computer, so I think I might be off the hook. :D That is, assuming they don't bother to background check my username, and what are the odds of that. LOL

p.s seriously though. If they lock me up will you guys post bail for me?

I guess I am reading too many pundits izzy.

Well McCain and Palin may be fascists as everyone here says, but hell at least they are american fascists.

Some guy in Ireland posted something about taking a shot at Bush back on Litchicks a few years ago. Brooklyn got a visit from the FBI.

I am going to vote for Obama, going to try to wean myself off the news. Nothing I need to know about McCain and Palin, nothing I must read.

Can we put our faith in the white people of America?
