panel, yes. The difference of matices I can see is that panel or mesa redonda is for informing and basically debating. The format "mesa" at least in literature meetings here is more modest or simply different. Not too much dialogue between the themes or problematics of the different mesa´s conferenciantes. Is more a round of questions and answers between public and each speaker about very specific points after somehow isolated conferenciantes´s readings. But sometimes there are crossing little dialogues or debates.
