I've successfully wasted, er, I mean spent ... 3 hours doing nothing but hanging out on Studio Eight .... when I'm SUPPOSED to be finishing the writers pages to launch this weekend...

It's been fun, Stupid Bob! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. I enjoyed our repartee.

Now... I have 21 writers... all of the pages are complete (5-15 pages per author), except mine and LR's. He has chosen his material and I am sorting through mine.... 15 folders with over 100 poems or essays or stories in each folder, attempting to select 5-10 pieces of my own and I better get back to it, because they all sound the same and I hate them all but I'm not going to put these pages up without representing myself in some fashion.... and I have promised myself to launch this section of the site by tomorrow... and tonight, we have to go to a holiday party and mingle with those who pay our mortgage. You know why they call it a "mortgage", don't you? Because you pay it until you DIE! The root word is mort which is french for death but I know you knew that because, after all, you are a Texan wordsmith... *smile*

Did I tell you LR is writing a new tune? It's a country tune. He's replacing the lyrics of this tune with his own lyrics and it's pretty darn good, if he does say so himself...

"Could you please tell the man
I didn't kill anyone?

Remember that? Who's song is that? Oh yeah... I know... It's a Lightning Rod song, of course!
