is that a sufficient answer?
there are numerous symbols prevalent in native american art. if you wanna select one, why choose this one, to propagate? whatever the symbols history was pre-nazi era, it's meaning now post-nazi era is incurably corrupted.
there is no going back to a supposedly pure swastika. it is a nazi symbol. the fact that the nazis didn't invent it, is irrelevant.

logical?
is what logical?
symbolism isn't about logic, it is about social meaning.
mental associations aren't about logic, they are about culture.

does it relate to the subject of the post. Well let us see what we can make of it.
You don't like my avatar, well I could change it. I obviously owe it to you. I mean I owe some explanation of myself. After all what right do I have to be here? What right do I have to use a five thousand year old chinese symbol for my avatar? This sounds more like a personal matter and not like it has anything to do with the subject of this thread. I know you miss perezoso, but I ain't got the education to take up the slack. Just an ignorant child. The next thing you are going to tell me is that since the holocaust poetry is dead?

OK.... sooooo... given the poll results, let's do both #1 and #3, combined.
We'll have an Image-ination Story Jam ...
Multiple illustrated story threads.
Somebody posts an image to the top of the thread... those who reply, reply with a story inspired by the image. Others can continue the story the first story writer started, either in poetry or prose, whichever they prefer. They can also add images to the thread if the images pertain to the story.
If you want to start a new story, you'd post a new image to start a new thread for that story.
Whaddya think? Hmmmmm?
Would this be fun?
