I don't know why there is not more protests, I think there are more silent vigils going on then we think, the most sincere people I met during the anti war movement were from the Physics department and the returned veterans. But there were a lot of power freaks from the poli sci department.

How exactly does one's debt relate to one's courage?
Besides, I think apathy is the culprit, not fear.

All I know is what I read in the newspapers, there are not many good paying blue collar jobs anymore.
I see stories of lower middle class and underclass kids busting their ass to survive in college.

As I mentioned before this is another blue collar war like vietnam. THat college money the recruiters offer is a big draw I think.
