Here's one from the Stones called Salt of the Earth. Although much is said about the Stones what isn't said enough is how underrated their songwriting is.

Mick and Keith both sing on this one. After 9/11 the Stones played this one in the concert for New York gig. Keith changed the lyrics from "raise your glass to the good and the evil" to "raise your glass to the good not the evil." (Just a little Stones trivia.)

Oh, and finally, you gotta love the line "let's think of the wavering millions/ who need leaders but get gamblers instead."

the stones are wonderful and of course tubthumping is a song that i used in class about 5 years ago. Back then, the kids liked it so much that they made a short film to go with it. (wish i knew where that piece of archival history got to)
