What would you have done?
It was sad, he was a good teacher, he loved teaching. But he was having a problem with the university. They were pressuring him about completing his doctorate degree. And he took his frustration with the adminstration out on his students.
Last I heard he was a dis barred lawyer and antiques dealer in Florada.

I don't know what is more important than free speech.
Still not sure I got your critique of the article.
