You're right Mark,
the sight of all those posts running down the page
not only set the whole mechanism in motion
but set your imagination to bopping too
even if ya entered with your mind dull as soap
you'd read a few posts & next thing ya knew
you were ... you were... it was like standing
alongside the tracks & when the train came along
you just picked your spot
threw out an arm & hooked a car
& you were on & gone gone gone
you were part of something
and could drop off where ya wanted
and do it all over again
that activity & energy level just naturally
fed on itself - that feeling seems to be missing here
like you said it's more "isolated" somehow
hard for jam to get really going
hard to get that swing swinging
much less get a real jam ride out of it
it'a a damn shame that - -
people really enjoyed being there - I know I sure did
because of that feeling
the whole thing right there
and the setup mechanism was the crux of all that - shooeeee!
