Ground sutra churning
Progressive progress
Limb by limb and tooth by tooth
Unashamed self-plagiarism
People turning into guitars
and animals popping out of nowhere
Pleasant day everybody!

=========

Still ebbed
did a three day marathon on
cancer comedia
the hurt we feel
reflects the love
we know
as people turn into guitars
and scriptural passages
between moments of incomplete relief....
I held her swollen hand and said
"it won't be much longer now,
wait and say goodbye to your kids."
She wanted me to put her down,
spoke it so clear, through jaundiced eyes,
with tubes out her nose,
bladder, belly bags and drains,
I left her morphine drip set and locked
for her clarity for her kids
waiting somewhere waiting,
and looked back one last time into her darkened room
with soft hues and quiet sighs
and walked down the hall to ri·ot·ous laughter.

yet the image of her there is complete
I'll draw it out from memory and paste it here,
perhaps a series of them,
or a secret camera to glorify the infirm, as I said before,
blessed are the ones who are wounded
and heal.
The ones who die are sometimes forgotten
but to those of us who are gifted in that way
they become revealed to us,
a marraige of suffering and transcendent energy
that flows onward to and from
the source.

musicians, such power to heal, there was a sci-fi show back in the early seventies, the physicians were musicians, they operated with tuning forks not scalpels. can't get enough music today.

fucking tax time, I been trying to get my ducks in a row, five trips to the dumpster today, I wish I had a camera, you would not believe the chaos here, nothing can get done until ...

but I got a high window in my bedroom just above my computer desk, the sun was streaming in about ten minutes ago tree tops across the sky, duck book ends and books on the window ledge, but now the light is fading and my energy too.

later, still waiting for for Rose's daughter to catch up. she has some vague memory of being in the hospital just before crazy mike and alamo rose seperated.

I think about narrative a lot these days
nothing done on web site yet,

taking that ride cross
town, makin' sure to
wink at caroline and
eastern, gonna get
my head into the
flame, the hottest
blue ya ever did see,
magical poppin' sounds
as the molten orange
steel wastes away.............

Had a friend
he was in art school
dropped out
made a studio with friends
metal welder sculptor
got dratfed
door gunner hueys Vietnam
came home a drunken bum
got his nose broke in bar fight
was in gallery show St Pete
"Mind;s Eye" with me and few others

He has a sculpture hidden
in street plantings at side of downtown building
I gotta go revisit it for the name-title,
chopper blades folding outward from plant growing,
he finally got straight.
Then disappeared. Maybe he went back to Maryland.
Now I forgot his name.
But I met his friend, Herb, a Vet for Peace,
photographer, Herb Snitzer.

musicians watch late day sunlight
stream orange through high windows
turn into darkness and flickering lights
while blue flames leap from molten jazz
pipes of brass and jam bands
of visionary bum angels....

Voices in his sleep, are they real? A neighbor of mine, his crib catty corner to mine. Glynda comes over all worried because she got a message from big bertha our land lordress. Glynda talking a mile a minute freaked out about Salem the half dead cat. That fucking cat reminds me of Scroedinger. The message was kind of vague, I finally get that much out of her. Just a short cryptic "call me."
Turns out it that it had nothing to do with Salem the blind cat with the punk haircut. Bertha got a call from our kitty wampus neighbor who complained to her about loud voices in the morning when he was trying to sleep.

getting ready for work, I probably should put this on snippets,
not sure it relates to mark's hot blue or your friend b ut
