Yeah, but maybe this should be the last "planned" jam.
Not many are participating.

Just so you know, this was for you and Steve.
I hope you're doing better. I should call you soon.

Three days later,
I notice the autumn banners
came into the mix.
Equinox passed,
the earth is healing
and though I am feeling tired,
I welcome the renewal.

Winter hasn't come yet,
but I already look forward to spring.

If only one
makes a healing jam
it is still a salvation

being negative
thinking negative
negates

despair, alas!
wanting more, alas!
what more is necessary?

there are only 5 white rhino's
left on earth and we worry 'bout no thing
of import!

the only way to heal is to heal ourselves
put out healing vibes to save
the savage beast that is us...

everything has an
expiration date
including jams

until the last rhino dies
until I die (& compost)
I will make poetry jam

Hah!
Freedom's just another word...

Do not write when you are angry,
she said to herself, then stopped writing immediately
and went back to bed.

A wise woman once said (Pema Chodren)
"When you feel like shit, say... I feel like shit!"

I write when I'm angry, sad, happy, depressed... the whole gamut
it is part of my healing process

to acknowledge my feelings
to give space to my grief
to spend the day off and nurse
my wounds...

Nada wrong with that! Nada at all...

I cannot change the world
(even tho I want to sometimes!)
only myself and to give me
all the time I need to heal

I can say "NO!"
I can say "Of course!"
I can say, "Can I help you?"
I can say "I feel like shit so leave me be..."
that is FREEdum for me right NOW...
Freedom's just another word...

I feel like shit.
But I'm not prone to pitch a fit.
And yet it's true, I feel like shit.
My feelings are not counterfeit.
No matter whether I admit
or not that, yes, I feel like shit,
nothing changes 'cause of it.

i thought i felt like shit
till i hung out with like-mindeds

i thought i was tired
till we spoke of what's important

i thought i was an introvert
till we considered possibilities

then i thought things were fine
and i noticed the change

I am sending love to all,
my sisters, my brothers,
this my calling, my purpose.
I have no other.

Sending love, I hope, is healing
for the receiver. I am a believer
in such things.
It's also healing for the giver
whose heart sings.

Crap, perhaps
I'm selfish like that.

Every single day
I heal
Falling down, wounded
I heal
Constant pains
I heal
Others ask me
I heal
A wounded animal
I heal
His heart sputters
I heal
Every single day
Freedom's just another word...
