Say it doesn't matter.
Good night.

You'd be right anyway if it came to real starvation.

Do you think I'm like Lot's wife and I might turn to salt?
Anyway, it reveals that I'd not be the ideal type of survivor and I'd only survive if I had an ideal setting, otherwise I'd go maddening out there into that strange cold, cling to it without knowing where to jolt up the logic and needed senses.
I'll not be good at the end of the world scenario. :(

The revelation is breaking up my dreamy architecture, design I've entertained is not likely.

In Anais Nin's The All-Seeing short story this part
~ Jean stood now before the blurred and covered window which did not open into the street. He said: "I am behind the window of a prison. I am a prisoner. There is always a window, and I am always behind it, looking out, and desiring to escape to countries and places which I imagine to be light, wall-less, illimitable. And you are a prisoner of another kind. You are barred behind your loves and your compassions. When doors open, and you are on the verge of freedom, you take the fatal glance backward and see the one behind you who is not free and you retract your step and enchain yourself to this one while prison doors close again. You are a voluntary prisoner who will not walk out alone. You are always preparing the flight for others. And so time passes."

Lot's wife had to do something first to get changed to salt - she had to look behind her.
"I'd not be the ideal type of survivor..." and you think that why? The ideal survivor gets from one sunrise to the next crossing many dreams in between.

"the revelation is breaking up my dreamy architecture, design I've entertained is not likely."
None of our designs are likely, for sure, Doll.

Underneath that "dreamy architecture" of yours there is a beast, believe me. We are born of it and it lives within each of us. You can rely on her because if the time ever calls for it she will trample what she has to on her way to the next sunrise. She will reach down and choose a small stone and with it in her hands she will take out Goliath and cut his head from his fallen body.

yeah. & you need not leave compassion or anything else behind - you will need them even more because the beast is powerful but savage...and those who seek to ride it without compassion & pity & mercy can hope for evil only. Yeah. You are & will be queen of Mongolia.

And, to paraphrase a song by Concrete Blonde,...

"You'll have the ways & means
to New Orleans
you'll go down by the river
where it's warm & green
you'll have a drink
you'll walk around
you'll have a lot to think about
o yeah"

So up! & up!

Say, all this writing has made me hungry, how about some duck soup?

Oh man, I'm embarrassed I'd went to so much trouble in all the worrying over ducks I don't even haves, might not ever haves and hadn't really named.
I had a dream last night of sitting around with 'the family' in my head family and one of the girls look right at me, called me Lucy. She'd asked at the table, "What's wrong with Lucy?"

I swear I sat straight up and went, 'Oh man.'
What a way to wake up, I can go to so much troubles and then think Holy Crow, what's wrong with me.

Thanks for saying such nice things and that I'll likely be a survivor regardless of my temper tantrums. :P I went to sleep thinking you were mad at me and woke to find you mights be mad at me and then came home from work to see you're still sweet. :P

Hunter's of things, that's what we are, but it would be a mistake to think of that as the whole story. We camp alongside the rivers within us. We go to the wal-mart. I wonder what any native word for shopping is. It's another kind of hunting. It's kind of amazing all over the place. Everybody's ancestors were hunter-gatherers and that's what we remain even here in the 21st century. I have to gather together a lunch now for the journey to work where I chase dust while hunting dollar bills. You can even hunt sitting still. Things will come to you.

Just got back from a jaunt in the woods. Been awhile since I've been out within the trees. Going down the side of a steep ridge left by the last ice age I slipped, both feet going out from under me so fast only thing I could do was to take the fall and keep my head up best I could. So I went down flat on my back, hit hard but did keep my head from banging off the ground. Trouble was the shock to my body went to my head anyway and pounded away between my brain & it's bone case.

So, back at the house here with hot coffee & a keyboard. It has come to my attention that I wake up fantasizing and go to bed fantasizing and go around all fantasizing between those two points all day every day.

I'm a ghost in my own life. A ghost that is just rotten with fantasy. Can anyone say, to quote Mr. Simon, "don't want to be a cartoon in a cartoon graveyard" ?

Even practicing moderation with tight reins on this bit of introspection it still is lodged between my brain & it's bone case and pounding away in there.

Things will come to you.

I've had to take a time-out, the libido has...a mind of her own and she's kept me practically delusional. I don't knows what else to say after that. :P
Had dreams to follow the pursuits, too.

So ya went out on the trail, went tumbling down the backside of the mountain on your backside. I think it'll be a reminder for a week that mountains might reach out and grab you. I hope you won't be feeling it too too much so, though on the tailbone or that it'd rattled your thinking cap. :P
Sweet dreams, mingo.
