perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
35,000 years
of separation
Apocalypse
Come and gone
Umpteenth time
Visionary
Marc plucked in his prime
By WW1
So much magic in Monet
Spiced with a whole lotta
Pain
Of loss
Continual
Till only he survived alone
A loose organization
We are
We are
Writers basically
And visualists
In our sixties
Most of us
Bonded
By the web
There's history here
Something new
Yet evolving fast
These are the times
Fast....faster....fastest....
Impatience rules
People taking the words
Right out of your mouth
Or your cyber thought waves
Jammin no direction
Making em wonder
Double the meaning
Even triple or quadruple
Jam the unknown
The ever after
Spells cast
Lines unbroken
Building on foundationsm
Call it reverie
of separation

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
blue horses gallop
mustangs never to to be ridden
like the brown ones
slashed lines as bold as
killer sunsets...Picasso
having coffee in Montmartre
the cobblestones covered
in brilliant oil, the sun
reflecting the palettes of the day
I want to be there so badly
it keeps me up at night, I don't
belong here

visions

i'd like a chicken sandwich i think
long ride today
two state routes
then homeward on back roads
small white butterflies over growing corn
signs for properties to be
auctioned off the 1st week of july
crossroads grocery
plywood over every window
the days now of high summer
passing

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
Pat and Ellyn stopped by
from my discussion group
six years now meeting to
turn over the events of the day
my daughter Eria came as well
with my friend Norm, he played
his guitar while Eria sang some
tunes, summertime, waitress
in a donut shop, midnight train
to Georgia, such good medicine
her voice is special, my friends
come to shorten the long days
of recovery, my sister Fran
brother-in-law Bill will bring
me a rocking chair today, so
I can rock away the bugaboos
rock away the pains, rock away
any blues that tries to sneak in
I be rockin', chillin', healin'

slam the jam into the pan
chat, clap, kick back
don't pet the rats
you'll get a rash
o baby, nothing lasts
you get born
then soon outclassed
grab your stack
head for your shack
flash a glance
at all the tramps
your hat on backwards
sings of wrath
one yin
one yang
a pinch of zig
& a dash of zag
a fucked forecast
for the mixed up tracks
take me somewhere
to expand
don't wanna contract
don't stand still
i will i will i will attach

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
jelly and jam
eggs and ham
coffee in the vein
another day we gain
movin' and groovin'
hittin' the street
feelin' the heartbeat
the rhythm of life
butter on the knife
fuel for the dance
we all take a chance
what will it bring
listen to me sing
we all do our thing
flap each wing, the pitter
then the patter
what does it matter
it's morning that's all
another day to haul
our asses outta bed
we're alive not dead
eggs and ham
coffee in the vein

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
wind moving sharp & frisky
when i go riding today
sooner or later
will have to turn straight into it
i got a bike with more than enough
low gears to handle anything short of a hurricane
but i'd rather ride the Ghost
more thrill in her saddle alone
than in the 21 gears on the other bike
no explaining love

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
10 minute walk
now twenty, such is
the creep to restoration
mile long scars fade
steps around the block
the lake is tantalizing
teal blue and rippling
the soft breeze on the cheeks
reminds one of all
that is good in the world
laughter from a party
the smell of chicken sizzlin'
on the grill, music pumped
into the early summer air
and I'm still here for the ride

Scent of showers
The fireworks will go off
Smoke lays low
Over cookouts
Low 70's
Rarity
Glad your walking about
Steve
More coffee, now
Maybe a beer later
A walk around the
Old town
Enjoying 3 days off
Blowing by way too fast
Jammin
Et spiritu sanctu
Tranquilo in fact
Acceptance is the key

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
friendly neighbors
backyard cookout
"bring the dog!"
packed my ruck
summer salad
a couple beers
fresh t-shirt
treats for Kane
and off we go
through the woods
a scant mile
to music
laughter
philosophy
and of course
food
primal
cooked over fire
as it was
millenia ago
and today
tribes still gather
to share their bounty
to retell their stories
to celebrate life
pagan joy
under a setting sun

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
never knew I was loved
so much, friends bringing
home cooked dinners, like
meals on wheels they call
and come to hang out
for a bit, sensitive to my
napping ways as the scars
lessen, the visible aftermath
receding like the tide, and
I will not ever forget them,
each one will have a permanent
place in my heart, and oh
those delicious home-cooked
dinners run the gamut from
Thai to Italian, salads to cut up fruit
they are with me, sidekicks
nurses, philanthropists of love

Re: perpetual jam!!!!!!!!!
sun behind cloud
air thick with moisture in the early morning
killer humidity -
yesterday had to wait 'til evening
to ride the bike
& even then the sweat came
short run - 4 miles or so round trip
ain't nothing for the Ghost
if you want to take it easy
you got to take another bike
the Ghost likes her speed
and asks it of you & never takes no
for an answer -
no serious hills on that route
grades yes -
difference between a hill & a grade up here
is distance
that's the whole shebangle right there
hills around here all made by
the retreat of ice age glaciers
and the hills can be fierce
savage - even attacking them with 21 gears
& a super-low granny can sap your willpower
short but steep -
the grades are different - long but steady rise
get to the top without walking
and going down a grade is
a long orgasm of coasting
or you can go for speed
with little work to achieve it
... i'm babbling now,
Tug Hill Plateau has got into my veins
and my bike wheels just go
round & round
