slowly becomes easier
to sleep alone

waiting for the rain
a change in the weather
for my little rock and roller

melts on rooftop
deep belly breaths

gets used to
missing someone

absence
heart grows fonder
until presence

thinking about how i grow quietly affectionate towards a place or a bunch of people until i actually am forced to deal with the aggravating realities
