over to 49!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
boundless be the
cycle of suffering
in this land of
nevermore,
ravens and sea gulls
assembled on the
playing field,
taoist patterns fluttering
endlessly, emitting this
continual refrain,
suffering a fact that when
accepted can lead to the
contentment state,
within the abyss of the
spiral I become the
wandering monk,
ever wary....eyes fixed
on no prize, except surprise
within the merriment of
laughter,
words we bring to smiles light
our enlightened days.
a spiraling abyss
cochise territory
winding down the canyon
an back up again
i said a prayer
let these people
keep this land
forever
an tho the way was lost
the spiraling abyss
was the way
across high plateaus
windy and desolate
great sweeps in th mind
a soulful peace
and wings of hope
wishing I had one more bottle of
Palo Duro Canyon wine
Refrigerator humming
Head throbbing
Early morning cool
Got to walk while I can
I finally got to pet mz polly's dog today
I felt honored
No more politics for me
No more spreading the news
Sufficient to one day
is the evil thereof
I ride the ego trip
I am up I am down
Meanwhile
Life is still beautiful for me.
How about a hollow weenie jam, too early?
I dread Halloween
I will be there whatever format it is. I have to decide who I will be. All this logging in and logging out gets teezus. I hope I got it out of my system. But stilltrucking is going to take a hiatus. He is in mourning for mousey1
I appreciate your tolerance.
Here in your asylum for the terminally vain.
The things you see on the road on Holloween night
some people have the damndest ideas of tricks and treats
A cinder block on a rope hanging windshield high under an overpass
Was it karma?
Payback for the man he killed in Utah?
Probably just bad luck
But that hunk of concrete was just high enough
to take out the windshield of a truck.
It would have passed over the roof of a car.
I would rather drive on new years eve
take my chances with the drunks
rather then drive on holloween
I got a little flower garden going again this year
It stands as a sentinal of joy at my back door
Somedays the only joy I can find is in looking at those flowers.
Darkness at noon
it will pass
mood swings from smoking tea
the black diabetic sugar induced moods don't help
I am bored with the up and down
I would just rather stay where I am
and let the world rise to meet me.
a walking mediatation is all I got going
up to two miles a day
going to walk out of this valley of the shadow of my death
Hi my name is jack
push my button
see me spill my guts
hey, over here in perpetuity
words begin to disintegrate
sounds echo, cymbals crash
ears ring (someone talkin bout me)
a still trucker mimes his high way
wireman dogwalks that boogey tune
jimboloco blows his kitty trumpet
serene doreen croons to that orange moon
and me? i cringe at this rhyme
but i shimmy the beat
no blues today
no tears today
no time today for down
may the upchild linger in us all
