does it sell when
your looking into
the wishing well?
A wish bone not a back bone
I sell my sweat
Not the truth
Choices?
I always got what I had coming, I never had to ask
life lived forward
understood backwards
or so the wise men say
I miss kim
and her crutches
The young so strong
There was a chill in the air the night before
Down in the thirties
Covered my plants
My sentinels of Joy standing tall
still at my bedroom window

did you say old haunts
I was a spooky kid
But ain't we all
Hanover street bridge
Blank
Working on my visuals
Still trying to tear my eyes away from the vanishing point
on a far horizon
chronic highway hypnosis
Hanover street bridge always at night, high brige, concrete on or stone arches
Damn my memory wholes
Howard and North,
Ouch
1980
two by four upside my head
Urban decay
sounds like a rebirth
good news
haunted those baltimore streets wirman
walked for miles and miles
from south charles st to The Art Museum and JHU campus to little italy and fells point.
everything seem more real than I was
everything seemed so fleeting
I wondered what would last
only the arts I know now
but back then I felt like a ghost
still do
Not walking enough probably
un natural 2D world, so self contained here with work and play
I got out for maybe 15 minutes on a sunny fall day with windswept leaves
very refreshing
I read something about writing today it was in a 2001 edition of the writer's market that I bought for a quater at the local library used bood store. It said:
Do you feel that if you could not write you would die?
I don't know about that. Breathing seems to be my a priori or something.
But if I don't get back to my walking practice I am going to be a real flash in the pan. put a crink in my plan to be a bad old man like Japhy Ryder.

it takes a train to cry
I been riding that ego train again
Up and down ride
I want to live
I want to die
meanwhile
nothing to do for my sister
but get my act together
her baby boy of 22 leaving home again
she is shattered
Please come home Carole Jean
I got mixed feelings about my avatar
as if my stupid posts relfect badly on her
I try to keep her in my heart and mind as much as I can

It is corny but true
A smile is good medicine
I see those dark brooding clouds pass over her
One of the things that are no mo is family doctors it seems
One medical office to keep a patients records together
One doctor who knows the medical history
In stead of having it scattered in five different places
It wasn't merely that their left hand didn't always know what their right hand was doing, so to speak; quite often their right hand had a pretty hazy notion as well-- D.Adams
