Sunday Stream (14) ~ a cecilism

Years ago I began writing down passing thoughts that I felt were pertinent to me. Akin to catching a fish in the stream, I was attracted to these little things I began calling "Cecilisms"... they are little snippets from my contemplations. This is one of them -


Reality is the Illusion

Truth is the Realization



Our confusion is the unknowing... what is the answer to the question? Makes no difference what the question is, only the answer will do... but answers are not Truth, only perceptions of mind which analyzes reality... matter. Truth is an experience far beyond any thing. Reality is the knowing of matter. If we base our lives strictly upon matter we miss the other half of our totality... our wholeness is incomplete.

Reality is based upon the observation of matter... any form, any color, any essence... matter is every thing. Connected into one, can we perceive that image of matter as being but one... the only thing there is?

What is that that has the perception? It's not only mind, altho mind is the projector of perception... the experience of perceiving the wholeness of all things, leaves us with the realization that with what we are perceiving is able to conceive all things. All things easily fit within the mind, and the mind is included within Consciousness. Full mind or empty mind - consciousness is the original flame the lights the Way. Mind projects our reflection of that which we perceive from the Source... on as many levels as that from which we are perceived. - the empty mirror is experienced.

We build our experiences in Life... our own life being built out of each and every one of our experiences, each blend of the material differs with each experience, our being is creating itself into our projected image of Consciousness. We each feel that we have the answer to fit our being... that one uniqueness that separates us from the pack. We have no choice in that. We are born as unique individuals, each with a mission, our own paths, our own desires, our own strengths and weaknesses, to gather those experiences in order to sustain our will to do our Will - the acceptance of Being.

Our lives are cut short on this material plane thru natural disasters, man-made explosions, sickness and disease, even old age no longer able to carry the spirit from which we have come to in order to gather experiences. It may take many lifetimes to fulfill our Being...our wholiness, like a diamond, is created by the pressure of Reality - the yin/yang of existence.

Each of us are a drop within this sea of consciousness on our journey thru reality to reach the sea from where we began. Each journey further gaining experiences to attain wholeness... our Wholly Search for completeness. We must have reality to attain Truth, for what else is there to empty? Our Wholeness once filled, the cup of our Being, now empties unto the sea - the journey continues now fully awake... ease is the reward. Reality surrenders to Truth - the realization overflows the chalice of our being. - we no longer "are" but we become "is"... Truth is complete... the ether that allows Reality to be.

Sara
R.I.P.



Our Sara passed away yesterday morning after three days of struggling to keep the spirit within. She was 16 years old and was a dear and wonderful spirit who will be sorely missed by this family.

we know how temporal these things are. One lifetime you have 80 years and one lifetime you might be lucky to get sixteen.
Our cat Wink is old and lovable. He has kitty AIDS and every other morning or so he gets sick on the floor. I just clean it up an give him a pat on the head.

Our Sasha died at 18 two years ago. I have his cremated remains on our 100-year-old china closet in the living room.

Sara-- all cats go to heaven.

that one uniqueness that separates us from the pack
Each of us are a drop within this sea of consciousness on our journey thru reality to reach the sea from where we began.

Panta said or I thought I heard her say, the waves are not in competition; it is an ocean of love.

The day JFK was murdered my sisters orange cat was run over by a taxicab. My tears that day as much for that cat as Johnny we hardly knew you.

Salem is sick, my neighbor Glynda’s black cat. He is in bad shape, she is going to trap it and put him down, she who rounds up his kittens with her live traps and takes them to the pound to be killed. A real cat lover she fancies her self, I personally believe there are never enough cats in the world, I would pay a vet to heal the sores around his mouth, the cat is starving to death, cant eat. She don’t have the money she says. I asked her months ago why doesn’t she have him neutered, she says she don’t got the money, but I know dam well that one day a month you can get it done for free at the animal shelter. I cant tell you how many times me and my sister have hauled cats over to the north side shelter. Sorry about the rant, I can’t tell you how much I envied that cat when she held him in her arms.
I grew up with wharf rats near the water front in Mobtown, they could kill a cat, rat terriers are excellent dogs.

Cecil, sorry to hear about your cat. My sympathies to you and to bbitch. It's a true loss losing a pet. I've lost a few dogs over the years. My current dog, Bogey, is eight and is the only dog my three year-old and 11 month old have known. It's going to be a rough scene when Bogey passes away (hopefully not for a long time). Sad to think about such things. I guess you have to rationalize by saying death is a part of life and all that bullshit.

Anywho -- hope your new year only gets better.

Thanx 2 all regarding the passing of our cat, Sara... it was a blessing after seeing her going downhill for quite some time. During the past 16 months or so she was on a steady decline which proved to be unnerving at times... but those last few days were indeed the most difficult. But she had a proper burial and now our lives once again take a turn - no more of her cries in the early mornings, awakening us from a sound sleep, no more cat boxes to clean, no more hairballs unexpectedly found on the pathways thru the house... and no more (before long!) of her beautiful white hair (she was a Turkish Van) on the carpets and some of her favorite chairs.

Sara will hopefully be our last cat. She left us enough memories to know that she was indeed a very special guest in our home and it would be damn near impossible to ever expect a replacement.

Artguy - were you implying that i should have left it at the original 8 words...? even the simplest broth could fill a chapter if i got a hold of it.

My family always have dogs as pets and even though I´m not a very pet loving person I felt very sad when our 13 year old Dingo died.
Last night for the first time in my life I slept in a room with two cats. I was semi-awake all night seeing black and white shadows jumping from somewhere to the bed and then dissapearing without a sound.

My Wink won't be far behind. I've had him for 13 years. He's a fiesty old long-haired tom cat but I will miss him when he's gone. I know you miss your Sara.

Cats are so special. I've lost a few myself, and it's still hard to think about them without crying.
Boots, Ewee, Ponce, Louie, Bud. I'll never forget them.
(Ponce I don't miss so much. She ditched me for the neighbor couple. Granted, the dudes could cook, and they spoiled her rotten and loved her like she was a queen, but geez!)

My Mona is a skittish lil creature, she glues herself to my lap whenever she can. I adore her. I'd be pretty lonely without her around...Stella is gone so much these days with her friends, and school stuff, and going to her dads on the weekends.

I'm so sorry, Cec and Sooz for your loss.

And thank you Cec, for a grand stream again.

doreen and hes' - it is so nice to see all these great replies regarding our Sara! Good to see animal lovers out here, believe me. We still have our 2 dogs to keep us company... Annie and Yogi. They came in the day Sara passed and sniffed her out and then gave us some comfort. Animals got soul!!

And thx for the comments on the Stream, too!I believe we're all united by the common Light, just in different "wattages"...

Yer darn right they do! And they're smart, to boot! I asked the dog next door what's up on top of the house and y'know what he said? "Roof!" And I when I asked him what was over there on that thar tree, he answered right away! He said, "Bark." I couldn't believe it. I wondered if he could tell me something about sandpaper, so I asked him and he answered again, one more time, right on the money! "Rough!" he said.
