the diamond at the end of the evening

Post by sweetwater » October 31st, 2013, 3:57 pm

overlooking the harbour
or looking out or looking into
looking within

and looking without

the night lights in the
surreal early
evening darkness

shortened days
feel cold in the wind
from the ocean

the tide carrying ...

the mind is the ocean
perceiving the mind

in the morality of a wind storm typhoon
and hurricane or sunny afternoon
smiling into the squint of the sunning
warm wind ...

to decide the view with a room
peridot and amethyst bracelets
ambling in the amber stone
the rose quartzings
of stone and diaries
and diamond rings

i wondered about earthquakes
and time and the tsunami bushido
barricades and plato's cave

like candle light shapings
of a play on words and hands
to shape the universe

like lost cities and
wanderings through the ruins
of historical referencing

other histories
past and the vast emptiness
in the assimilation and

assimilating the
the breath
of life

as if one moment
created the content of
a knowing
beyond the disguise
of what is known

or the veil of what is known

as if one life
encountered the meaning
in its entirety

of its knowing
in the masking of a knowledge

one breath one slow breath
breathing
in the night and waking
in the dew of morning

the sun the moon the stars
the grass and trees

perceive the mind
in the virtues having
been created ... already created

this moment is the past
present and future

now ... on this line dear reader
where you are ... with me or without me

within or without

like history and its stories
of what we choose to tell
or even remember

how it shapes the disguise
itself

how the disguise is a truth
how truth is also the disguise

that a life is the truth or a truth
unto itself

in the being and becoming
now

whom to no one is to slave
or admire in the injustice
of trafficking virtues in the relative
rewording of history

how it is in the simplicity
or the simplest of things
we admire

the end of day in the heat
of a nightly kiss after dinner
or the warmth of the embrace

of long moments separated
by time and geography itself

the unconscious virtues of culture
to conquer and make victorious

the victory in the need to celebrate
to stretch the story imbibe and exaggerate
the details as to surmise

the eward is in heaven
the heaven within you now

time details itself as the story of being
as if knowing the dependence of things
and the teller in the telling

the tree perceiving
the mind

or the salt ocean breeze
breaking through the breakwater
rocks are everywhere

red sand and seagulls

a moment's entertainment
instant feelings of warmth
and convenience

as for the inconvenient truth
and
the false belief syndrome

that goes on and on dear reader
to amuse you to sleep
in the beckoning embrace
of boring you to death
with the parcels of preachers
preaching

to the extraverted noise makes
of society

known to those who like to tell
stories

what does history decide
other than the many virtues
of gold and silver necklaces
jade bracelets and pearl ear rings

and a bottle of forgetting
a glass of gracious appreciation
that the day in itself was worth living

a diamond of a day
the sun shone the ocean embraced
the waning of the moon

the trees moved through the seasons
the leaves came and went

the colour of time itself
the rainbow is the pot of gold
the pot of gold the rainbow

the mind is the rainbow perceiving the mind
if you managed to reach this point
of the journey
feel yourself

as yourself
if you feel to be lucky
then luck be with you

or if you feel to be more inspired
to relate
the disfigurative design
of your own advice
and telling

then please do ... go ahead

you are alas and free
yes you needed this advice

and and and
