Economy question

Poor countries are in debt.
Rich countries are in debt.
Who does everyone owe money to?

well... the province government will pay me may salary in two days, do you want a loan? (i know, it´s a bad joke...)

yeah it was a bad joke but in this case I think it's funny

the thing is that if "poor" countries can't get out of poverty (partly) because of debt, and if "rich" countries are in debt too, which is also a potential handicap, it either means that somebody's pulling an unimaginable amount of money outside the system, or that there's a mathematical hex in the rules of finance.

can't we at least, like, see who owes the less, and cancel that amount debt for everyone?
