Wazzup, truck? I delete my own posts all the time.

Everybody on the internet deletes their own posts.

That's why God created the delete button. :)

I liked jason's user name a lot
"eyelidlessness" reminds me of something out of Tolkien

I hope he is doing okay.

I remember Ram Das talking about the more subtle effects of lsd,
been almost thirty years and I am I am still noticing things. How naked I feel for example

I have lost my internal eyelids.

I won't won't delete anything ever again unless you ask me to.

But all things work to the good for them that love god. (isn't that a pretty thought, I may be sarcastic there) I hope some growth will come out of it. I obviously had it coming. My only fear is being my father's son. Black moods come and I get sarcastic as hell. If nobody has replied to them I delete it. But I will not do so anymore. Nobody means more to me here on studio eight than judih. I will not delete again. 8) But most of the time I delete because I think i have made one too many posts for the day, or I have posted something that is not helpful only hurtful. Because I want to be in that number you know. when the saints go marching in. Not trying to hide from anyone.

This bit kind of stunned me. Probably true, I don't even know anymore.
sometimes we can all understand him
and sometimes he fears we understand him too well so he deletes.

uh, hmmm, how does it feel, stilltruckin, to be spoken of as if you are hiding behind the curtain not 'really' listening?
thank you d

I feel better now
and I am done with this
but I wont delete it. :)

well this whole thread is ancient history. I don't remember at all what it was about but judih said it wasn't about your posts so ...... it wasn't about your posts. :)

the only problem I can see with people deleting their own posts is when the posts are part of a conversation and then when they disappear, the conversation doesn't make sense any more.

that said, I've been guilty of deleting my own posts from conversations I wish I hadn't participated in... and i guess i shouldn't have done that

I donno who you're quoting. ... hmmm...

nor do i understand why you brought this very very old topic back up... from 3 years ago.... i guess you must have your reasons

I was thinking the other day about how slow the site is lately.... it goes through stages of slow and faster i guess...

seems to me people like it when there's some type of drama or problem to solve... that's when we have the most activity

that baffles me really

it's what people complain about that they really like i guess...

.

ok
thanks

I would like to be low maintenance here like a
no drama obama

Magical thinking
sometimes I post stuff in a text box as a catharsis, once I post it I delete it because I feel as if I have been done with it.

But I will try not to do that anymore, leave everything for j to see, my intent is to be naked to her. If that could be of any help to her. Amazing this grip on insanity that I have. I tried to hang myself when I was about eight years old. I keep telling myself that I was just horsing around in that closet with a belt & a coat hook, but I also remember crying because of being locked in that closet as a punishment and feeling un loved.

thank you

Another day another deletion

deleted from Clay's creative post here
Clay I feel like a fool trying to critique your work. I wish I was half the writer you are.

For what it is worth I will tell you why I liked the shorter version better, it leaves more to my imagination.

Ask grandma to pass the cranberry sauce.
Reason for deletion, it seemed redundant. But I have heard that human behavior is over determined. That is we usualy have more than one reasone for actions.

still-t, i didn't mean to cause you pain.
it's just my impression that your writing leads you to places that you'd rather not leave in the public eye.

It's not hiding, per se, but more like deciding against it.
Now, what happens to me is that i start to write sometimes, go off on a tangent and then think that i'd rather not, so i erase before i post. instant reflex that means you don't see my change of heart.

doesn't mean a thing. it's a free forum (invoking the usual human rights boundaries).
i commented on your deletions cause you told l-rod on his post that you had deleted.
pain was the last thing on my mind. my comments were made as if we were sitting together in a room, just throwing out thoughts.

badminton, not an iron ball. light birdie was my intent, not crash, boom.

8)

Yes
A room
Doreen's Tea Room.
Tea at Rachel Varnhagen's

Currant bread and current affairs
Strong Assam and rooms hazy with words
Beauty and brain not a contradiction in terms
Salons where male and female minds
Shamelessly mated on plush ottomans
Where sensuous mouths dared breathing hard truths
Where strong wills fearlessly bowed to the
Ingenious stroke of a feathery well-kept hand

Father forgive us for what we must do
You forgive us we'll forgive you
We'll forgive each other till we both turn blue
Then we'll whistle and go fishing in heaven.
