message to the ones i loved
i miss the place we created for a time
that those places were sometimes left behind
motionless and watching the final steps
made it this far even if i wept
there were times i was unkind
the reasons seemed ok at the time

heard those stories of forgiveness and faith
not so sure i can be secure
when what i thought then
is such a blurr

the times i helped you kick

i did what i could
made me sick
before you died you were such a dick

now believe me
i cannot take anymore
that is why i walk out the door
why they all scream 'whore'
maybe i didnt love you right
but had to leave or stay and fight
i never did cheat
but i wanted out

it can work i said
never be dishonest with yourself
because any of the things that you thought you could hide
will come right back up at high tide
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
