Oh! A devourer, mingo. Methinks that's good stuff.
`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

you did it again, el mingo... 'wolf' is wild... so wild i hear it's howl in the wilderness of the mynd... the fall chill stills movement which increases the throaty sound from deep within wolf and nothing else is heard as the sound cuts the air like a hot knife in cold butter... i sleep in deep comfort knowing wolf is watching the night.

btw: go to photos and you might be able to find what you want... 'paintings', 'pen & inks', enhanced photos, photos, etc... if that doesn't help, LMK, mingo. thanx.

mt, got over to your site this morning & spent a couple of hours feasting. Or maybe gorging is the word. How long you been at this?
I mean from the calligraphy brushwork, the pen & ink, the painting & the photograpy et al. Wheweeeeeeeee! It was all a delight to view and satisfying to the last morsel.

You're absolutely right judih! people get a buzz from one another - when it comes to the creative spirits this buzz is a zinger. We get fired up from each other's work, new ideas get born that wouldn't see the light of day otherwise. For sure it's a blessing!

Why is the Constitution continually under attack from the very government it created?

Why do we celebrate Halloween?

On Mars everyone will have their own personal nuclear weapon.

Fear-talk is prevalent. It's difficult to go anywhere & not find it. It seems to think it is the national diet. Why would anyone listen to it?

Hand sanitizer is also everywhere these days. Cleans up the hands real good I hear. Does anyone not know there is beneficial bacteria on our hands? It too falls victim to hand sanitizer. This bacteria genocide must end immediately!

The first person able to hold the Internet hostage will rule the world at his feet.

Why do the families of those men & women who commit suicide while on active military duty not receive a letter of condolence from the President of the United States? Are they not also victims of war?

Efficient is a word the Nazis much admired. They also admired the words peace & safety. A word, any word, is just a word. It is the idea behind any given utterance that counts. Is anyone counting?

We bombed the moon. We did not miss & there were zero casualties. Sounds like a good bombing to me.

el mingo... thx for the kind words. no telling how long i've spent doing something art related in my life... i quit counting when i contracted CRS some years back (can't remember exactly). that's why i heard about some herb concoction that aids in memory retention..i bought some tablets and am now on my third bottle... something like bilbo baggins... err, no, that's not it... it's bilboa... uhhh, no, that's a museum in spain isn't it.. but i take it twice daily and maybe one of these days i'll remember why i take it.

Actually Mingo, I happen to know the basis for Halloween (which has been shortened from the original All Hallows Eve) which was a Celtic celebration signifying the end of summer and a period of abundance.

The holiday also signified the thin barrier between this world and the "other world" where spirits on that night could cross over if care and celebration were not taken. Hence the ghost and goblin factor and scares and pranks.

Of course, like most modern holidays, the real meaning is bastardized to putting on a costume (even that is not always the case) and hauling in as much sugar laden goods as one can carry.

I could go on, but I will spare you about how the Christians hijacked the holiday with one of their own.

Good question about the Constitution...who the heck fire knows?

As for all that fear talk, I agree. Way too much of that. I don't watch the news anymore or hang with fear-mongers, if it can be helped.

Agree about the bacteria too...we need exposure or we will become exposed and hasten our ends.

Someone may already be ruling the Internet or have it hostage. Who knows? Listen to the fear-talkers and you may believe it.

Yeah, why don't suicides in the military get condolences? Why?

Don't count on me to count. I don't. As for words...agree there too!

If a bombing can be good, that moon bombing was probably it.

The weather is changing here, cold and blustery (as Pooh would say) and not too pleasant but the house is warm and Cec makes a mean pot of soup. Just the antidote for what may ail ya. A warm hearth and a pot of soup! Cheers! (I mean that with all the best intentions of the word  )
Freedom's just another word...

God bless sooZen - nothin' like answering a post point for point! Thx for posting though. I didn't expect replies. Sometimes I'm just sitting here when things start goin' off in my head like popcorn so I sort through the most of it & post when the muse has taken to ignoring me. She can be such the Bitch. But, like Jacob says "I post, therefore I am." Anyways...thx for answering up especially on Halloween.

Most of the leaves are already gone up here. Mostly it's just the oaks hanging on to theirs in several shades of brown and gold. I like this time of autumn as much as the rest of it even though it is late in the season. You can see into the woods now on daily travels and the trees still hanging on to their leaves stand out dramatically. Nothin' 'bout autumn I don't like.

Talkin' of leaves & seasons I made you something after I read your post. Hope you enjoy. Catch you both later.
