Conflict

Post by mnaz » December 13th, 2008, 6:58 pm

The following protest
is so last century and done to death.
We depend on each other, that much is clear,
around the dull, breathing rock and back.

Okay so here is my protest:
I am not so naive to believe killing was never necessary.
But I wonder if survivors understand the language.
Language can be twisted in so many ways.

I am naive
so this one is a paradox to me
I can't help but wonder at it.

And I think that is good
thank you

True, mnaz, language can be twisted. But many hear only the twist and see not the braid.

I am so naïve.
I believe that war
Makes war a necessity
There will always be another war
To resolve the issues raised by the previous war
Which of course was fought to settle issues raised by the previous war

No stopping it now,
It will always be forever war.
Because it was once a necessity
Because” language is a bitch with an ice pick “

You are subtle mnaz,
Please pardon the ramble and Quaker Propaganda
This will be the last time I do this to one of your poems

War makes its own war.

Something about the war changed.
It was always about change.

A protest with a recognition of inevitability all in one. Well done.

Yes it has changed
It is now Obama's war.
