Restart.

Post by izeveryboyin » December 16th, 2008, 12:49 am

I was going to hold back and wait until the end of the spring semester... but I think the time has come. I am making arrangements for the Big Move to NYC. And things are looking good for a late February, early March move. I am at a point now where things are just ripe for a fresh start, and I'm ready... as I have ever been... to do it. To take the big leap of faith.... to make sure that Myla is a deep and poetic Brooklyn girl. And to be a new version of all the best parts of me. I am still growing up. Just thought I'd try it somewhere else for awhile. Wish me luck.

END.

Good luck Kayla.
Do you know any one there?
Do you have a job waiting?

There was a time in my life when moving away from everyone I knew was helpful to me.

I read this in some trash detective novel and liked it.
"If you can make it here you can make it anywhere, consequently New York is full of people who can't make it anywhere else"
But you got to know I am a Baltimoron. We all hate NY.

I tried to post your blog but I could not login
my head hurts I can't read those stupid distorted letters and numbers on the verification thing. I feel like an "influential prepubescent" who has lost his influence.

NYC! Bravo
the poetry is gonna be hot. In tough times, real art shines through (less money for big sham sham productions)

Good wishes for a wonderful new vibe in your new location.
P.S. my daughter says that there are people looking hard for roommates, so a place shouldn't be tough to find.

Wonderful!

Myla's at a great change age! Do it, girl!

I'm with 'truckin .... tell us more! ;)

(My plan is to live vicariously through you while I stay put and pay my mortgage. They don't call it mortgage for nothing, yanno... the root is "mort" ... french for death...you pay 'til you die and I'll die here, I'm sure.. lol)

St... I'm just gonna transfer to the same store I'm working at now up there. And then when I go up in two weeks, I'll look for something else as well. I have a bunch of uncles up there, so if all else fails, I'll be living in the spare room of a septuagenarian. which blog were you talking about? The one on blogger? Nathan lives in Kansas City, living a comfortably childless existence. Thanks for the well wishes.

Judih... I certainly hope the poetry will be something... if nothing else, at least better than it is now. I am hot on the trails of roommates, definitely, but I'll probs end up at my uncle's for ahwile.

mtm... Thanks. How true.

D... I will do my best to make it a great and exciting life for us. LOL.

The Thanksgiving Day Blog

I will try again later, woke up bleary eyed and headached
I could not read those numbers.

Thanks for the info on NY , it eased my mind.

That is a big Big Big city, I was always puckered up on my seat when I trucked through, that skyline never ends. Like ten Baltimore's laid end to end.

I have never seen the good side of the city
I was alway down in the belly of the beast
The produce markets
Don't the sunrise look so pretty
Never such a sight
Like a rollin' into New York City
With the skylight in the morning light
Speaking of easing my mind
I like your avatar.
Listened to his press conference today 8)

But I am bracing for the backlash from the enlightened left.

Happy landings amiga

btw
I think the word BaltoMoron was coined by H. L. Mencken.

St... I keep meaning to update with that damn thing, post more often... my original plan was to post a new blog every week. I even made it my start page so that I would remember to do it... but I just get preoccupied. I'm always bad at writing when I force myself, which is why the blog you're mentioning, "A Glitch in the Time/Space Continuum" that I wrote on Thanksgiving was one of the poorer quality ones. At any rate, thanks for reading it. I appreciate it.

D... happy to be at your service. It'll be a bit easier for me to pop in and say "hi" up there, I think.

arcadia... muchos gracias!!! I need all the well wishes And luck I can get.
