401K

Post by Doreen Peri » January 13th, 2009, 1:06 am

Just got my 401K statement today. I lost another month's worth of money. Now, when I retire in 12 years, I can live for 4 whole months before I have to get another job.

Listening to bits and pieces of Bush's ultimate exit interview. Yes our moral stature is secure. We can hold our heads up high. He said he regrets trying to fix social security. Remember that bit, he came up with a scheme to privatize social security. Turn it over to Wall St. They know how to handle the trust fund.

I expect to recieve an IOU from social security any day now.

I hardly lose any sleep over money anymore.

Thinking about a cartoon I saw, the old man says says to his wife. "Our broker just called about our 401, he said we have to die in two years."

In twelve years, I will be eighty, If I am still alive I hope I am aware enough to worry about money.

there was a time, not too long ago, when I would've raised eyebrows by admitting I didn't have any 401K's...

add this 401 debacle on this administration and the list just keeps growing like pinochio's nose... and he still refuses to accept any blame.
