My lullaby tonight

Going down to San Pedro with a load of fish from Morrow Bay, I played this over and over to stay awake on San Marcos Pass. It was that got dam mountain pass that took her life. But I did not know that then. This was years before the accident.

No idea if any of this means anything or why I posted it here. Just that kind of night I guess.

Silent Woman's daughter

That pass was a trucker's nightmare
Always overloaded
No jake brake
Got to stay very awake
ride those breaks
miss it and make one hell of a mess
smoked my breaks more than once on that grade

Silent Woman's daughter died in a wreck on that mountain pass.

And she would never be there if I had not come into her mother's life like a karmic shitstorm
