Is it me or has anyone else noticed it's been colder thn hell this winter. Normally I don't start heating my house until about the first week of November, this year I started the first week of October I'm already running out of wood and it's only the second week in January. As I sat here, freezing my ass off, thawing my water pipes it hit me, what ever happenned to the earth is overheating? If anything it seems to be getting colder, the past few winters have been progressively worse.
Well, so much for the world's ending, got to go and chop some wood.
You know that global warming rumor sounds pretty dam good right now......BRRRRRRRRRRR (shiver)

really REALLY cold here, too, tony
it's 17 degrees here right now... with the wind chill factor making it feel like 6 (according to weather.com)
i definitely believe global warming is very real
i don't know whether it has anything to do with the current cold snap but i've read info that global warming can actually trigger a variety of unusual weather changes including unusual cold spells
i'm no scientist and can't remember the reasons for this
stay warm, tony! wear layers! have a fire in the fireplace

Hell, you're in a heatwave. it hasn't gotten above ten degrees here all week, most of the time we've been subzero.
Not to worry though, I crawll under two heavy blankets with my doberman and throw as much wood as I can cram into my firebox.
You know what's funny? My dog wakes me up when the stove starts to go out, I never sleep longer than four hours, I need a bigger firebox.
Oh well such is life for a midwest hillbilly..got to go chop more wood, wish my dog would quit peeing on it.
Alah Is Great!!
