A very interesting poem by mnaz
If I am reading between the replies.
I wonder if he is feeling disenchanted with Obama. Not that e_dog did not rant and rave about it.
Like the Rev Wright said, politicians got to do what politicians got to do to dupe the people into electing them.
I would dupe for Obama any day. He is the best president we have elected in my lifetime
But that is just my opinion I know.
I stilll got a lot of faith in him
My reality check came during the first debate when the moderator asked them both same question
"Is Iran a threat to the United States?"
And they both ducked it.
But at least Obama was willing to talk to Tehran before taking "any means necessary" to protect the Holy Land.
so that brings me full circle to mnaz's comment about "war" and "change"

Sounds good jimboloco
enjoy
I think I will try to acquire some absinthe too.
I saw a little factoid in the paper last week, listed the top ten most patriotic countries. USA and Venezuela tied for number one. Argentina came in number ten...
Biden got a reputation for foot in mouth disease. I think the senorita from Argentina got mixed feelings about Chavez.
Speaking about factoids I did not know that Paladins were warriors under Charlemagne
I hope you have a safe andThe paladins, sometimes known as the Twelve Peers, were the foremost warriors of Charlemagne's court, according to the literary cycle known as the Matter of France.[1] They first appear in the early chansons de geste such as The Song of Roland, where they represent Christian martial valor against the Saracen hordes. The paladins and their associated exploits are largely later fictional inventions, with some basis on historical Frankish retainers of the 8th century and events such as the Battle of Roncevaux Pass and the confrontation of the Frankish Empire with Umayyad Al-Andalus in the Marca Hispanica.

Why is it the Holy Land?
I been throwing the I Ching
Same question a couple different websites today
Coming back persist in sincerity
Not some kind of smart ass question
What makes it Holy for you.
I know it is Holy to J
She came home
But what makes it Holy to someone who is not a Jew?
I never know where you are going with this thread.
I just come back to you from where I am.
And I am into the bitter herbs again tonight
Can you tell?
I always think of that bit from the passover meal, I can't remember what my grandmother put on the plate to represent the bitter herbs the Hebrew children ate in the desert.
I was tempted to come back to you tonight with another user name.
I did on the other thread about the dream team.
I am glad you are not paranoid
I get paranoid everytime someone sends me a private message on studio eight.
I am making tracks too jimbo
Sanity been out the window for me since I don't know when
That is the only reason I know I got a soul
Call it a Buddha delusion
A Christ trip
I been calling him the driver
I don't know how many times he saved my sorry ass.
I guess it wasn't my time to go
Everyday I survive I take another step towards the grave
Waking up as I go.
I don't know
There are no words
As if the path disappears into a mist
I take one step before me at a time
Probably the herbs.
Cheap mysticism
But it ain't so cheap
I wish the hell it was homegrown

Reading the paranoia post to j's artlog
if you deleted the pictures off the cell phone
maybe you should ask doreen to delete this thread too
you know me
still paranoid jew boy after all these years
on j's december 27 thread
I said that I believe in her right of return
what I don't believe in is those adds you told me about in the florita newspapers about land for sale cheap in the "occupied territories"
It is not holy land to me jimbo
my attitude is it is all holy ground
even tex ass
maybe that sounds like a smart ass question
But I am interested in why you call called it holy land.
I think some Jews got more right of return than others.
I am a wandering Jew,
I fell no call to go to Israel.
Arizona is just as holy to me.
seriously jim if those sons of bitches are on your tale
maybe this thread should go
love peace and taco grease
from the republic of desire.
sincerely
stlll trucking et al.

It probably is a dumb ass question.
If the whole planet is Holy than the Negev must be Holy too?
But is it more Holy because Jesus walked there?
I would not mind having a smoke there either, also on the Pyramid at Cheops. Or at Machu Picchu, a lot of places, Stone Henge,
oh well me being picky picky
Beautiful day
seventy degrees
smoking the green green grass of home
And I got almost a full jar of salmonella free peanut butter left
with toast and honey and a cup of Lipton life is good.

I asked you about it three four times

ja I read that the two most patriotic countries in the world are USA and Venezuela. Suprised me that the Holy Land was not on the list. Not sure how accurate the poll was, one of those daily tid bits in my local Hearst paper. Argentina was in the top ten too.

oh there were better cockipt scenes than mine
dark red indeed, tho, at night
and the unearthly outline of lighted highways and towns,
from the darkness above
the warmth and inviting calm of the sheltered land below
\

i was not in a good frame of mind
but despite the dissappointing memories,
i can reconstruct those scenes
and by george
as with the poet and the shimmering dancing daffodils
my mind's eye gives me ease
at last

Me and Cecil jawing about the dilemma of the past.
On another board
His point seems to be that the past should fade away.
He is a koaney dude.
He say
I think Cecil is talking about detachement. I was thinking about you and how your Zen has helped you survive.
So I mentioned PTSD, and I know less about PTSD then I know about Zen.
Holy cow I just noticed the woman in red
such sweet anotomy
don"t you wish Freud was right
that anatomy is destiny
makes me so happy to be a man
I have such good PTSD
I stopped fucking thirty years ago
Acid, Adultery and Abortion
If only here was a market for drug crazed sexual hallucinations
I might have more ambition about this compulsive scribbling
spider love
such a sweet and painless bite
her exoskelleton smooth as ivory
black as ebony
boy if did not remember what a orgasm felt like
and that was one hell of a climax.
me and silent woman
I would have no lovelife.
