yeah, here are a few bars

http://www.studioeight.tv/musicpost/LR/ ... ernoon.mp3

if you listen closely in the second verse, you can hear doreen slamming the door on me.

One of my favoritest and kinkiest tunes
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

the proper Lincolnesque phrase would be
two-score and eight

so you must know about the kinks
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."

the 40 & 8 came from a place where I lived...had something to do
with some military thing some 50 years ago... I am nearer 49....
as for klinks, don't know it by name....love all music except for
polkas and some cheesy "country & western". When living in
texas though, rock and the type just ain't right. JC and Jennings
fit the scenery much better.

would you classify yourself being a Tull or Nugent guy, or both?

taking the song as just a song, the door effect complements it.
I love music, and I'll give any of it a chance...except polkas.
I don't take joy in other's unhappiness.....I wish you could be a
fly on the wall at my home........same shit....different people.
I also do not choose sides anymore...that's how I got to be
where I am today......wishing I was gay.

Okay, I have been to see some live polka bands a couple of times,
in NY at some festivals before, but not on purpose. Usually cause
there was a harley raffle or something...onion festival......ya know,
ya just can't win a harley. It's always some old lady that wins.
Gotta split to take care of another old lady-mom

"Women are subjects, men are predicates
the girls are nouns and adjectives and the boys are verbs
Ladies ARE before they do
Men DO in order to become"

Lrod, Lrod, Lrod.
You can't be serious here.
Ladies do, and they become are.
Men think they do, but really, due to an antiquated status quo that still unfortunately exists and you prove that here, men are born becomed and have to do very little. On top of that they think they did!!!! And they brag about it?????? Case in point: George Bush.

Tisk Tisk

hest

I love it when you call me Lrod, Lrod, Lrod (something about the repetition)
and 'tisk tisk' really drives me wild
we'll probably never agree on this for obvious reasons
but keep talking to me that way
"These words don't make me a poet, these Eyes make me a poet."
