morning owl

Post by justwalt » February 6th, 2009, 4:13 am

for you, the morning owl
this spirit sings your song
on silent wings so swiftly
to guide your faithful sight

the moon glow, it surrounds you
and dark paths below, they call
home, this spirit brings you
carried safely in the light

morning owl is free now
free from any fabled fear
seen soaring ever higher
as a spirit free to live

soon the day is dawning
as father sun approaches
this morning wakes anew
with rays of hope to give

the morning owl is wisdom
an artful craft of truth
with spirit gifted vision
and the powers of rebirth

seen inside the open heart
where only love resides
the morning owl is bearing
our spirit from this earth

morning owl is with us
to show the ways we feel
still, and always waiting
until forever fades away

sing for all the spirits
see the beauty in disguise
give thanks to all created
for this life we have today

yes, free from fabled fear,
a spirit freely gifted vision,
in the soul-less collective.
A match made in heaven.
They explore each other,
or so it would seem.

their use of nature is to illustrate the teachings of life
to the new generations, and to show that the spirit
is in everything, and everything is the spirit

the white invasion wiped out most of these teachings
for various reasons, the foremost being a fear of it

same thing happened in central and south america
the world's best information was purposely destroyed

I've had owls in my attics and owls in my barns
they are economical birds, waste no effort

the owl's feather is specially designed for stealth
an owl swooped me in a forest at dusk

I never heard it and I have good ears
I felt the wind and then saw it

Owls are silent and quick
I hope one steals my soul

Owls are beautiful. More than seeing them, I have heard them, whoot whooting in the night. It is the most wonderful sound...feeling.....to hear it.
Interesting poem, I really enjoyed it. My sister collects owl things!

thanks for elevating them...

....greek deities included, arcadia, yes, I see, the over planting
and wasting the lands for a few bucks-sucks...wish some of those
crusty old billionaire fucks would get up off some of the dough and feed someone instead of throwing away the $$ on a 4 story yachts!!!
