What you watch on TV can be very telling...
So tell me, what do you watch?

The NEWSHOUR with Jim Lehrer, The Simpsons, and The Nightly Business Report are the only shows I watch regularly.

I try to watch PBS on Friday nights, Washington Week with Gwen Ifell (Don Imus' cleaning lady), Bill Moyer's Journal and Now.

Sometimes I watch Jeopardy.

Sometimes I watch a few seconds of Jerry Springer to restore my faith in humanity.

We enjoy the variety tv offers and usually watch a wide spectrum of shows throughout the week. That's why it's not an easy task to list what we watch. I'd have list by the nights because that's when we do most of our viewing, which normally begins with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC at 6:00p local then scatters all over the cable depending on reruns and an exceptional show we want to see (PBS Masterpiece perhaps), etc... (btw we enjoyed CSI Miami last night)

That being said we both will watch Morning Joe on MSNBC each weekday morning with our coffee... Jamie Oliver and Nigella early Saturday mornings who are cooks on the Food Network (if we are awake) and Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood, one of our favorite regulars.

I watch CNN and MSNBC when I turn it on. I like Larry King, Keith Olberman (sp), and Rachel Maddox (not sure I got her last name right).

I've become a fan of Boston Legal reruns when I happen upon them. Also occasionally when flipping through lately have found myself stopping and watching Desperate Housewives.... both of those shows are a riot ... (I've only watched Desperate Housewives about 3 or 4 times but I can see why people get hooked on it.... it's totally bizarre to the point of being insulting but not at the same time... it's a cartoon, really). Boston Legal also deals with current event news stories in a humorous yet realistic/hard-hitting manner.

There's a lot on TV that absolutely offends me. Shows like The Bachelor, the Nanny, other so-called reality TV shows that insult my intelligence.

Public TV is always a good option. They air some good shows.

I've enjoyed the Bill Maher show on HBO and watch movies occasionally when I can catch them at the beginning. But gonna have to cut HBO out to save some money for gas, I guess.

What else? Hmmm....

Basically, I don't watch TV very many hours every week. Maybe a total of 8-10 hours a week, I'm estimating. Several nights a week, I watch the network news at 11 and Nightline afterward.

What do you watch, hest?

I watch all kinds of stuff.
My inner chaos is always screaming these days, this job has brought up more insecurity in me than love.
TV gets me away from the annoying buzz.
I watch the Medium, so glad its back on.
I watch American Idol with glee and abandon.
I adore Keith Olberman.
I watch Jeopardy every night if I can.
Lately i've gotten sucked into watching America's next top model on Sunday, while i'm choring around the flat.
That's embarrassing.
Dave Letterman charms me on Friday nights.
Indeed, I'm watching more tv than ever these days, confident that something better is yet afoot, that something has got to give. Biding my time with the tube.
Until I can find something else more likeable to do, somewhere else to go.......
Tvland is grand....
I hope to hell this isn't it.

ok, Jeopardy is one of my secret sins too

I watch it every day

It comes on in the morning here.

So, I predict my day by whether or not I get the final Jeopardy question right.

If I get it right, I'm going to have a good day.

If I miss it, I go back to bed.

I only used to watch tv each saturday (or almost most of them!) at 1 pm while having lunch with my father, brother & sobrinos (it´s the free lunch of the week for my sister in law! ) a tv programme in state tv about international politics. I like it very much! The programme is good and our conversation is fantastic!!!!!

I would liked to watch Capuzzoto´s comic programme each monday at 11 pm at home (also in national tv) but the interference in my zone didn´t allowed it except a few times!. But I´ve seen at my friend Daniel a video of more than two hours of the best sketches so I have the feeling I didnt´t missed much. It´s great, first time in years I literally cried-laughing watching it!!!!!!!

& now one week (today) having tv-cable and I´ve only saw 2 hours of old eighties videos while doing other things in vh1 channel. It was funny to see Bonnie Tyler adding botox!!!!! I guess I´ll have to find time to watch tv!!!!!!

Don't watch a lot...but I do enjoy Law & Order...and a couple of Canadian shows..Corner Gas-small town Saskatchewan comedy. The other is Rent A Goalie- A guy working at a Toronto Italian Cafe owned by a retired mob boss and his hot daughter. The main character munja cake, what Italians call us anglos rents a team of screwy goalies out to mens league hockey teams. They even have a doc on staff who lost his license due to too much dipping into the pharmacy...it's a riot.

I threw my TV out the window.

Well, actually someone broke in and stole it. Don't watch much now. Haven't missed it too much. I like college hoops though, so sometimes I have to go to the bar to watch.

Youtube- Music mostly british from the 1980's

Also
House, Sundance/IFC/Palladia (new HD music channel)

I also- I know i'm going to catch shit for this but I do watch RockDocs/ True Life- Documentary style short programs on MTV pop culture is interesting to me...i like knowing what people my age are watching, its more from an observational standpoint

but i say that about everything-like i'm just some observational detective and not a participant.

I watch america's next top model too Hester

I think i like looking at the photo shoot.

you know hoe wever rock star wants to be an actor and ever actor want to be a muscition?

I'm definetly a film maker who secretly wants to be a fashion photographer. i romanticize the idea, and i'm pretty sure its not about the women- i think taking pictures is more "erotic" i mean whether of a man or women then doing video in a room full of people.

by erotic i mean sort of this feeling i get, kind of a power/allurring thing. hard to explain.

i like the way beautiful lighting makes people look- its almost like a sexuality in itself- I'm eroticised by great lighting and also a little bit of the power play in photography. and its not a one sided thing either-i like being behind and infront- depending on who's behind the camera i quess.
Blah!
