yes! véronica waved, and came to laugh and hug and touch my hair (it makes me easily recognizable anywhere, which is an advantage most of the time
), and then she talked spanish to me, and i tried some english, and then we mixed it all up and it didn't even matter because ah! who needs language in such a moment??
and later on, she pronounced my name and the name of my town in the most stunningly perfect way, and it must be she had been there with me in an earlier life....
ah, and the bag for doreen - of course! we walked by it, saw it and both shouted simultaneously "this is doreen's bag!!!"
here it is (whatcha think, dor?):

and we walked down so many streets that we kept having déja-vus about maybe having already been there or probably not, and found that coins were only achivable with the help of chewing gum, and that trees were so manifold and each of them having its own personality, and that the buenos aires cicadas sound different than our black forest crickets, yet equally loud, and véronica kept taking pictures of me while i was eating and looking edaciously voracious (haven't seen those yet!), and together with my friend christine (who speaks spanish, and who took those pics that show v and me together), we gracefully blended three languages, and the city seemed so very familiar to me and it was probably all because of véronica's great laughter and presence (hey, and about the shoes in the trees, véronica - both of your theories may be right! i searched a little - look here: http://www.snopes.com/crime/gangs/sneakers.asp and http://www.shoefiti.com/index.php?s=somehow !)

véronica in the dangling shoe café sometime in the afternoon (i think - we were so timeless most of the time!!)

ha! those are great! (i don't look hoggishly gluttonous, no??)
judih, oh yes... you were definitely missing!!
(and see the hummus leftovers on verónica's plate?)
i like the writing picture, too. especially since i've got the appropriate vis-à-vis:

also arcadia was successfully eating ice cream against the wind as well:

judih!: I have the feeling you´ll meet again soon!!!!!!
doreen: great that you liked the bag!!!!!!
and the fact that we thought in you!!!!!!!!
(And to tell the truth: Christine was the only one of us that ate the icreacream like a lady despite the wind!!!!!!
)
I loved Anemone´s idea of sending postcards to some of you, paradoxically (or not!) , the moment when we wrote them was the more emotive-rich and complex (or not!) of all the ones both of us shared together ... and hey! panta ... I wrote with the eyes closed???!!!
(gracias!!). (I didn´t send the four postcards yet, we are still looking for three addresses !
)
mnazz: globetrotting! yeah! I like that word!!!!!!

yeah, verónica - you wrote with eyes closed or shaded to keep the emotive flow and liquid laughter from flowing onto the writings....

rich moments they were, for sure!! and beautifully intense...
....but whatcha mean we two weren't like ladies? you mean because of the hair in our mouths and the ice cream in our décolleté ??
(and are we looking for three adresses? i thought two??? let's email... i'm still searching!)
mark, thanks. it was a grand tiny piece of mind- and city-space globetrotting indeed....
doreen! glad you like the bag!
we acquired it for you visually, sort of....
