morbidity

Post by stilltrucking » March 17th, 2009, 9:06 pm

in the graveyard again
thinking about Woodrow Wilson
I wonder if anything is left of his black burial suit.
I imagine it is still there, and it is covered with mold
I have not seen a horror movie in years, a waste of money for me.

Death wouldn't feel so morbid
if folks would just snazz up their
funeral wardrobe
a dash of pink
a smoldering of red
a soupcon of colour
but no, black is the chosen remorse
and we can't bring popcorn
to the burial

I reckon we shouldn't dwell on death until death dwells on us!
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

I reckon it is just a picture show
I don't sweat it mousey

Thanks for the reply
I liked it very much

Now I visualize Woodrow Wilson in a pink tutu, with a green Mohawk, wearing high heeled sneakers and a bustier.

He looks more presidential somehow.

He should have a banana sticking out of his bustier. Nobody would screw with him then.

VERSAILLES, 1919
The hall of mirrors
Am I the only one who noticed that Woodrow Wilson cast no reflection

If I was casting a movie about World war one I would have Boris Karloff playing wilson, Bela Lagosi would be Clemenceau, and Lloyd George would be Porky pig.

After all these years
I can see the perfection
The beauty
All is well
How else could it be
Everything is on track on time

Mingo the synchornistic
I am in the wrong century here.

So hard to be hip
when your world starts in another century

So this is how the world is now. And Santayana was a fool, those of us who remember the past are doomed to repeat it.

I saw a little one inch column in my local newspaper a little factoid, Obama now has five spiritual advisors. That's good news I hope.

My father's war, how he got his citizenship, some confusion about his country of origin. Homeboy says Russia, but I thought he was a Litvak. A litvak being a Pollack with a high school degree.
She is twice the man I am.

I once put a banana in the inside pocket of the jacket i was wearing & went over to a friend's house. About 20 minutes into the conversation I took the banana out of my pocket and began eating it. My friend stopped talking & watched me with wondering eyes. When I was done he said "Did you just pull a banana out of your pocket and eat it?" "Yes"; I replied. We both had high school diplomas. We were our own spiritual advisers. Neither of us would ever set foot in Poland.

I bought this computer from B. F. Skinner's behavioral science laboratory

Every time I post something to studio eight it rewards me with a banana flavored pellet.
