what do you think of that

Post by constantine » March 30th, 2009, 7:17 pm

half block to the next fuck up
around the corner, can't even guess
i'll burn that bridge when i get there
i have faith in my resilience
it has overcome any stupidity
i've managed to create
so why rock the boat
why experiment with
eastern religious philosophies
the judeo-christian what have you
i can write my way out of a paper bag
i take my guilt/remorse whatever
add some punctuation and line breaks
and spin my transgressions into some
crackerbarrel hip cheez whiz
that i like to call poetry
what do you think about that

i enjoy your little
crackerbarrel hip cheez whiz
spread thickly on
whole wheat chips
with a chipped glass
of carlo rossi burgundy
every now and then

seriously. totem and billboard really stood out for me upon this viewing - i see elements from abstract expressionism, amerindian/southwest motif, futurism, and contemporary techno-imagery - a unique synthesis of expression.

An astute eye you have, Dino. Thank you for noticing various 'schools' within... all which have indeed, influenced moi.

The amerindian/sw touch comes not only from my locale but an extraordinary artist Dan Namingha who has filled me with awe. (www.namingha.com/)

I can't think of a better snack for the mind. I enjoyed reading and especially liked the positive approach to life in it.

I gave up on metaphysics a long time ago. I like the attitude.
