Its meaning resounds

Post by hester_prynne » April 25th, 2009, 5:00 pm

Took a good, deep,
satisfying shit today.
In and out
at it's best, and yes
foul as this might sound,
it's meaning resounds.

Took alot of harsh, flat
critique this week.
Go faster
in tones demeaning, deeming,
me less than the rest,
trying my best.

Want to escape so bad,
this free world sham.
Crazy thoughts
endless dreaming, scheming,
there is no content,
that pays the rent.

Took a good, deep,
satisfying shit today.
In and out
at it's best, and yes,
foul as this might sound,
it's meaning resounds.

For me writing is like that. I've long described it that way. If I don't do it often and on a regular basis, I become ill.

Here's to healthy shitting.

Peace,
Barry

Does anybody remember the Open Scroll? Anyway, there used to be a great poet -- maybe a little overzealous at times -- but a great poet and at least to me a great person.

Something like this was his calling card:

Nothing is more overrated than good sex and nothing more underrated than a good shit.

He said it better than I have. Thanks for reminding me of some good times.

I remember it, of course! That's where I met you. Must have been 10 years ago. Long time! I see Tom O'Connor on facebook sometimes. He left all those posts up... he still pays to host the domain so the writings are archived. Pretty cool!

Wish I could think of which writer you're talking about. Do you remember his name?

......

Hest ..... I didn't think I'd really enjoy a poem about taking a shit. But I did. lol

I may have the spelling wrong, but it's Bob Brueck.

As I recall, you either loved him or hated him but he was always Bob!
