grew up near river and lake
matter of fact the Great Lakes
the fresh water stuff, inland
far away from the salty sea
and then things do change
moved out east to the coast
next to the deep blue ocean
that one called the Atlantic
which kind is really better
you know the fresh or salty
all about the same it seems
its land that feels like home

land starts to sizzle neath the toes
when you get there
there's no confusion
soul feels home

heart begins to bloom
