that's the castle theatre i'm going to study in for the month of june this summer. my school just approved this as an accredited exchange program, so i actually get to take 1 less class as a result of going!

they're paying for everything but food, flight, and accomodations. they're buying us tickets to a world-congress on theatrical stage lighting and effects, where experts from all over the world will be speaking. also, there will be a baroque opera, which happens once a year and is by invite-only, but the school is buying our tickets.

this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and some of my best friends at school are going. we're staying in an authentic gothic style mansion for the first half of the month. there's 150 pubs in the village.

i can't believe i'm going to the actual place called 'bohemia'... it's in south bohemia, actually. i can't believe that there is a 'south bohemia'... it's just too surreal... i hope i come back from there... or maybe i hope i don't..
