Must have been a hell of a dream to wind me up like this. To bad I repressed it.

I will limp
Get me a hickory walking stick.

The first time I remember having that dream was twenty five years ago. It was the summer august houston texas,
but not as bad this time
but still the nausea the adrenlin going sour in my veins
nodding off
making a personal note to myself not to forget to breathe.

My internet time is documenting
The Decline and Fall of The Holly Moly Republican Empire
against the mundane miracle of my own old moldy forlorn rags of old age.

I love anne ran
oh yes the non phalic masculine
don't it make you want to grab your balls

summer of 1985
the summer after the november alamo rose died.

so many good sci fi stories writen about the guy who was afraid to fall asleep.

smoked all the butts out of the ashtray

alkaloid anxieties times the times

my time of life

when old injuries
insults to the body
come back to hurt again.

I need the stoicism of Philip Marlowe if I am going to deal with this.

Oh well
cherrio
and stiff upper lip

That's the way us heretics carry on
As I enjoy the cosmic humor
of my own horrors
played out in
in vain attempts
to write it down
so none will walk such paths of love after me
If you can't give me love and peace, Then give me bitter fame. — Akhmatova.

what feeds into dreams

the first time I had the dream I was in a truck, this time in my own bed,

reading a lot of Raymond Chandler

Trouble is My Business.

Ah geez I am such a qvetch

Bennie Shapiro got nothing on me.

The still pools at Asuka

Pass away so easily." --AKAHITO
I did not wake up gasping for breath this time. I can not remember the content of the dream only that I had stopped breathing

Perhaps it was

gravity has become my mortal foe.

sounds like a rough night. one of the reasons i smoke is for its dream suppression capability. too much shit going on up there - strange shit, uncomfortable crapola from the ghost of xmas past.

all my enemies are weak and cowardly men,

that is what makes them so dangerous.

"Laughing Buddha boys don't have all the answers" a line from Hester poem quoted from geezer memory

I get to write a couple hours

a day

it is about all the pleasure pain I can stand.

A bad night
a real conundrum
that distant mind
from a future will have been

riders on the storm cool on my stool
I love the exquisite irony of human consciousness and free will.

got to get up
I want to mention a R. Rabbit poem I just enjoyed which reminded me of your cracker jack poem,

Dreams are cheap entertainment.
I have not had to see a slasher movie in years

poor little ego
no match for monsters from the ID
there it is
my holy trinity
though I walk through the valley of shadows
my super ego is the baddest mutha on the block

RE:
smoking and dream suppression

yeah I noticed that too
That is one of the downsides to pot for me.
Me and jimbo discussed it on pot is not thread
no free brunch
the thermodynamics of quantum consciousness
I love my dreams
good bad or indifferent
a bad night when I can not sleep
that ommm wheel spining off the tach meter

I had to spend last night out in the country.
away from here
I always sleep well there, if nothing else I can sit up in a comfortable chair and nod off in cat naps.

I got a Th.D. in sleepology
from long haul truckers college of nightmares
One of the things I learned from the veterans I sleeper teamed with. The Art of Sleeping Fast.

sorry for the ramble

be back with a couple of hyper links and hyper trash trucking cb lingo when I can.

You know which poem I am refering to when I say "your cracker jack poem" I am doing a mental flip flop juxtaposition of that poem and Rabbits

good luck reading this.

I am pretty sure that some where in the twenty thousand or so posts I have made on studio eight there must be at least one or two that I like.
