I'd like to suggest D. Patrick Miller - Author and Owner of "Fearless Books Publishing and Literary Service.

D. Patrick Miller's writing continues to helped me 'over the humps' of life. His most current commentary (on the home page link above) Fighting Terror with Forgiveness is one of the best I've ever read.
In addition, I find his interviews insightful and entertaining.
Here's an a sample of what you'll currently find at Fearless ....
Former NASA scientist Amy Lansky has written a superb guide to the alternative medical approach called homeopathy. Read about the “Impossible Cure.”

Yes, there was life after “Sultans of Swing”. . . Higher Straits: The Fearless Interview with David Knopfler

Looks a great site, Deb!
Thanks so much for pointing it out!
Would you like to write a review of the site and interview the webmaster?
We'd be honored if you would!
Let me know, ok?
Thanks!
(ps - sorry it took me so long to get around to replying to this... it's been a little hectic during the holidaze)

Yes, I would. Thank you for asking me! How exciting!Would you like to write a review of the site and interview the webmaster?
Though ... I must say- I've not done this before. I do know I'd like to try ... and D. Patrick would be a wonderful person for me to start with, as he's done so many interviews himself. Perhaps some of his experience, guidelines, and pointers will rub off on me ~eh?!
As long as someone else edits my work (!) as I'm horrible at editing.
I'm certainly interested anyway, and willing to get it going the beginning the end of January, as I have a couple of other things I need to get completed first.
Doreen ... the changes you've been making at StudioEight, the new graphics (beautiful!), the ease of moving through the website from the main page, the many poems/writing that are coming (looking forward to them), and the already available writings (especially in openmic) ... Awesome!
Truly.
~~~
One thing I'd suggest is putting a link back to your main website index page available somewhere on your discussion boards. Because you have wonderful things, resources … but no way to get back to your site from your discussion boards. At least, I can’t seem to find the link back …. but that could very well be me!
Hi Deb.
I'm going to put together some kind of basic guidelines to what a site review could include and also some basic interview questions for webmasters. When I have it together, I will email all those who are interested in this project (yes, you!) and you all can take it from there, then send me your text when you're finished with it. Don't worry about never having done this before. People love being interviewed so their answers will carry that text quite well. And if you love the site you're reviewing, you're bound to come up with some insights about the site based on your admiration of it! (Don't worry about editing, either. That will be done, if necessary.)
This will be a fun project working with you and the others to put together some site reviews and interviews for viewers. People like getting a taste of what's to come before they click to the site they are about to view. I'm excited about it!
Thank you so much for wanting to participate in this! And thanks for your kind words about the site development. It's coming along like a snail. LOL! It's way slower than I anticipated, but I'm enjoying creating the top images for the forum which I'm changing every day or two.... and yeah, there are a lot of fine writers and artists on the pages already... I'm glad you have ventured there to read and view... Those parts of the site will be growing once we get some interactive software set up, which I'm working on. I'm honored to present their work here!
You're, of course, right about having a link back to the other areas of the site from the boards. At one point, I had a HOME link up top, near the FAQ, but then we had to upgrade the board software because of an attack on phpbb boards a couple of weeks ago (I posted something about it in Announcements... I think that's where I posted it.) Anyway, when we did the software upgrade, all the modifications we had done disappeared (avatars, links, etc.) so I have to find some time to add that link again. I want to add a couple of more links, too... maybe the site navigation... but I have to figure out how to edit the phpbb index page to accomplish this.
We're taking baby steps.
Thank you again for your kind words and wanting to work on this with us. I'll be in touch with you and the others about the site reviews and interviews as soon as I can get it together.
