washingtonpostdotcomThe next milestone on the path to U.S. military disengagement is next Tuesday's deadline for American combat forces to leave Iraqi cities, including Mosul, which has been a hotbed of insurgent activity. The deadline is in an agreement reached during the administration of President George W. Bush as a step toward the full withdrawal of U.S. forces by the end of 2011

The situation in Iraq truly puzzles me.
Last night I went to a town hall meeting here in Seattle. The topic was 911 and it was hosted by a group of architects who are trying to get word out to the public that there is no way that the towers could have collapsed like they did without somesort of inside detonation job. Their evidence was alarmingly convincing.
What would the motivation be for an inside job like this? Why would they want to destroy the towers, kill innocent people?
I was impressed that this town hall meeting was packed and that there were so many people wanting answers, truthful ones. There was a firefighter there too, who also gave insights as to how the current explanation for how the towers went down was totally bogus. He talked about a substance called thermite, talked about how a burning plane could in no way melt steel to molten, but that investigations have shown that thermite can, and they have found traces of it. First responders also are now dying, with their lungs full of tiny pieces of metal, fallout from explosives. They also showed eyewitnesses, in early news footage, where people were saying they heard explosions. That footage was later canned.
Why are we letting this go? I think there is an answer right under our noses as to what really happened, and we need to find it and seek justice. This is serious stuff. When and where will they stage this again, since they now know they can get away with it, that the public will look the other way?
I'm so very appalled with our government, I find myself loathing them, I mean deeply loathing our government. I never felt this way before. I always sort of thought that our government was at least trying to be decent.....

I may be naive, but there is a change of governing government now. whether it will pursue all things just in our system or not depends so much upon the will of the people, the cash of the lobbyists and the expense of complete transparency.I'm so very appalled with our government, I find myself loathing them, I mean deeply loathing our government. I never felt this way before. I always sort of thought that our government was at least trying to be decent.....
seems as though Bush & Co left our Treasury looted beyond recovery at this point plus add the theft of the banking/mortgage companies and our future no longer needs shades except to hide the tears...

I think about 180 people were killed in Iraq bombings in the past week. But that is good news, everything is going as planed I heard some general say.
Did you know that not one Jew died in the 911 attacks? Seems like they all called in sick that day.
I gave up on conspiracy theories about 911 Hester. I spent hundreds of hours researching them. A waste of time.
What the heck are were you doing there? Why ain't you singing at some little club in your spare time?

I know, it's several years after. I went with a friend who really wanted me to go....found it pretty interesting, and very proactivist.
Singing in a cafe is where I would have preferred to have been. Since I've moved to this big city i've just been working too hard to feel much like singing in a public place, much less seeking musicians. I do sing alot at home here and the neighbors often comment on how they enjoy hearing me warble. Heh.
MT, indeed, it's amazing how the government has deteriorated. Maybe it always was corrupt and I was the one who was hornswaggled. The loathing is gutwrenching. I resent paying taxes. I am alarmed at Codex and the WTO taking charge of regulating food. I've heard that by December of this year we will no longer be able to get vitamins! Do you know anything about that? This alimentarian group?
I figure that i'll find my kansas when the first state secedes from the union. That's where i'll live out my days....

We need to get back to the good old days
The web is spooky these days. You can create so much buzz if you know how to manipulate the search engines.
Ah shit
never mind.

Enough of the 9/11 Conspiracies, Already

The American Society of Civil Engineers and FEMA conducted an in-depth investigation of the World Trade Center. The team members included the director of the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the senior fire investigator for the National Fire Protection Association, professors of fire safety, and leaders of some of the top building design and engineering firms, including Skidmore Owings & Merrill in Chicago, Skilling Ward Magnusson Barkshire in Seattle, and Greenhorne & O’Mara in Maryland.
It concluded that massive structural damage caused by the crashing of the aircrafts into the buildings, combined with the subsequent fires, “were sufficient to induce the collapse of both structures.”
The National Institute of Standards and Technology did its own forty-three volume study of the Twin Towers. “Some 200 technical experts . . . reviewed tens of thousands of documents, interviewed more than 1,000 people, reviewed 7,000 segments of video footage and 7,000 photographs, analyzed 236 pieces of steel from the wreckage, [and] performed laboratory tests and sophisticated computer simulations,” the institute says.
It also concluded that a combination of the crash and the subsequent fires brought the towers down: “In each tower, a different combination of impact damage and heat-weakened structural components contributed to the abrupt structural collapse.”
Popular Mechanics, first in its March 2005 cover story and now in its expanded book, Debunking 9/11 Myths, after interviewing scores of other experts in the engineering field, takes apart the most popular contentions of the conspiracists. “In every case we examined, the key claims made by conspiracy theorists turned out to be mistaken, misinterpreted, or deliberately falsified,” the book says.
I made a few calls myself, including to Gene Corley, who conducted the American Society of Civil Engineers/FEMA study, and to Mete Sozen, structural engineering professor at Purdue, who was one of the principal authors of “The Pentagon Building Performance Report” of January 2003, which was done under the auspices of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineering Institute. I also contacted engineering professors at MIT and other leading universities in the country, and none of them puts any stock in the 9/11 conspiracy theories. In fact, they view them as a huge waste of time. They are busy trying to figure out how to prevent buildings from falling in the future.
Of course, any conspiracy theorist worth his or her salt will claim that all these people are in on the plot.
And that I am in on it, too.
Get over it.

On one hand a conspiracy theory is a fool-proof way to commit an atrocity... presenting it as a conspiracy will so confuse a large segment of people that there would be no way to refute the theory regardless of the information.
On the other hand, conspiracy theorists are always in the minority of believers regardless of the facts, but also the most vocal that are determined to keep their theories alive... truth be damned.
such is the way of words...

Why do questions become a conspiracy theory?
There are big holes in the answers of these government ass kissing reviewers. They do not ask eyewitnesses. They technically drown out questions with answers that are way off question and set in a shut up tone. Does that remind you of anyone?
Not that that is the point. The point is, why do we shut down so easily in favor of an "expert's" report? We don't even question the "experts" credentials most of the time. How many of us looked at GW's resume? I know I did and it was atrocious, but he got in. How did that happen?????
Aw hell, it's old hat.
So what about that split up of the couple that had eight kids on a reality show? Now that's what i want to know.....

I will tell you why Hester because they (the people behind the conspiracy theory websites) are a bunch of fear mongers who are trying to cash in on the 911 conspiracy theories. Like Steve Martin said in the Jerk, “Oh I see, it is a money making proposition."
I was referring to that when I said that the Internet is getting spooky. What I mean is that you could or you used to be able to run a URL through WHOIS.com and see who was behind the website, who it was registered to.
I was finding out that many of the 911 conspiracy sites were run by just a couple of people. (How is that for a conspiracy theory?) Now they have proxy servers like godaddy.com that hide the identities of the proprietors. A lot of them have now hidden their connection to neo Nazi groups. They have cleaned up their act Hester; white washed the early anti-Semitism now they are just your ordinary Americans asking questions asking you to send ten bucks for a CD.
That is just my opinion Theda.
but you know that.
sincerely jt
