When Rose was on her deathbed I promised I would look out for her daughter. She gave me a quizzical look.

Her daughter has a husband why should I have to look out for her? Maybe that is what she meant by that look. Or maybe she meant I did not know what I was getting myself into.

So once again I contemplate throwing my life in the wind for Rose's daughter.
