Jesus was a man of sorrows
and I am a cold hearted son of a bitch.

I said I am sorry
and she said
"You don't care"
What the hell was I afraid of
to touch a woman again?

"The fair sex
she farts so dainty
like sugar and spice"

I don't read all the haiku Jack (haiku is plural too ya know?) And, for g-ds (
) sake I am no haiku expert! The beauty of haiku (well, there is actually a lot of reasons haiku is beautiful or insightful for me) is that you can write about any damn thing, including farts as long as you are brief (like a fart?) and succinct. But all haiku rules are made to be broken.
BTW, regret sucks, does it not? Best to chalk that one up and move along... The worst wounds are the freshest ones I think, or so it seems. Old wounds are just scars and reminders not to do that again.

Freedom's just another word...

I been thinking all day, well not so much thinking as waiting on the words to get back to you. I finally found some words for wireman. Now I am waiting for yours.
As for regrets I think you are right. All I can do is do better again next time.
Camus I know little about him I only read a couple of books by him. The Stranger I read in French. Amazing. One of my happiest experiences in my twelve year career as a college sophomore was a French course I took at the night school of Johns Hopkins University in B'more. I had one of those teachers who not only loved to teach he loved the subject of his teaching.
He had us reading French by the second semester.
Camus also had a little book almost a pamphlet called The Myth of Sisyphus. Which is so miss interpreted as promoting suicide every one quotes his line "There is but one truly serious philosophical problem and that is suicide."
to put it in context.
Camus rejects suicide. He said Sisyphus was happy trudging down the hill after his rock. I am going to try and find a link to the essay if there is an online version available.
I am not well read SooZen, there are gaps in my reading you could drive a truck trough. Especailly about philosophy.
“I do not wish to be happy at present, just to be aware.” Camus.
I love Haiku, more than love it, I need it.
Love stinks, I don't want no more true love SooZen.
I can get by with pen pals.

"There is but one truly serious philosophical problem and that is suicide." If we judge the importance of a philosophical problem by the consequences it entails, the problem of the meaning of life is certainly the most important. Someone who judges that life is not worth living will commit suicide, and those who feel they have found some meaning to life may be inclined to die or kill to defend that meaning. Other philosophical problems do not entail such drastic consequences.
