what they don't see
will destroy their petty pleasures
their timid little treasures
their measure for measures
what they don't realize is it's all been said
a dinosaur ages times before
what they don't know is the christian book
it do not know them, they do not understand
the hidden meanings of forbidden hidden texts

the symbolic language was a serpent of wisdom
all this has been twisted and torcherd to fit
some agenda that has yet to be dug from the ruins
of Rome or Greece, to be stuck together piece by
jagged piece, though each day a new discovery
found that pushed back the time lines, though
they still make new theories aout this and that
to fit the puzzle in the square hole

though they find new evidence for knowledge
that they had poo pooed with thier so great scientific
theories, even though the green force drives through
the flower, and god does not play with dice, yet they
conjecture, they ram all the energy they can conjure
through great monstrous machines to blast the very
core of nature into smithereens, into small and smaller
particles, though they postulate dark matter
and plunge black holes through the heart of the matter
it does not matter shit to a tree, you see

though they shatter the very earth beneith our feet
these chosen ones are discrete, they have that discrete charm
and will arm the terrorist and wack at the hornet's nest
and test after test of what Einstein wrought
and still they ponder if Shrodinger's cat is still alive or not
poor kitty dosn't know if it is alive or dead, but it still
runs and plays with Chang Tzu's butterfly
yes everything is relative to this and not to this or that

though the philosopher kings long ago bottled the firefly
and canned wisdom in a canon to be shot at the moon
and the poets are still considered dangerous thieves
because they write on leaves of outlawed grass
this too shall pass, the center cannot hold, the middle
cannot riddle me like saint Sebastian another day
though the black birds pluck at my liver once more
