Flu shot or not.....

Post by hester_prynne » October 10th, 2009, 12:51 am

Are you going to get a swine flu shot? Seasonal flu shot? Both??
Interested in your opinions, shared info etc.
I can't seem to get off the fence of whether to or not. Good arguments on both sides it seems....... :?:

I've never gotten one. And I am in the "high risk" category. Have been for years. Asthma all my life. And recently high blood pressure. Sighh..

I haven't made up my mind for me this year. I'm leaning toward not getting either because I never have and I've been fine. I've survived.

That said, I just took my daughter to get an annual flu shot for the regular flu this week and I'll probably opt-in for her getting the swine flu shot or nasal swab at the school within the next couple weeks.

It's more important she survives than me anyway. LOL

How about you, hest?

Yep. That's what I said regarding giving both for my daughter.
Doubt if I'll do either myself. I'm not sure yet. Never have before.

Yeah, I want Stella to get them, I mean they say this swine flu really is hard on kids, deathly in fact! I don't know. All these scare tactics make me crazy, not to mention how much of it is a big cash scam I wonder.
Damn i've so little trust in anything anymore.
I'm feeling rather wary bout saying what bothers me though, so I'll shut up right now.
Thanks for your responses, hopefully a more definitive answer will come for all of us.
