Thanx judih, Mouse & Mark. You guys are lifesavers. Got a bad case of the blues here. The kind that rise up like a sledgehammer & just !WHAM! right between the eyes. Bad heavy. Don't never know where they come from like that. Got home from work tonight and got into the wine - not my custom at all but anything to beat these bastards. Then I get on here and got all these replies and WHAM! blues all gone and thank you all.

I'm at work late enough to say goodnite to most of the day & evening crew as they head home. Realized it this evening how many folks I say 'nite to down there. Then it's just me with my mop & broom and four operators with their computers as they direct the flow of who knows how many kilowatts of electricity out into the grid.

It's funny how things are "just so" and not any other "so".

The desire to change the "just so" to some other kind of (usually referred to as a better) "so" causes a lot of pain in the world, I think.

Me, I chase dust. I deal in dust. In this I am just like the 6 or 7 billion other human beings on this planet. I think it must be "so".

I read a phrase on the 'Net last night - "contentless information".

I decided to try it for myself.

It's a bit harder than it looks but all things have a tinge of possibility. Years ago someone felt it incumbent on them to load me down with the phrase "self-esteem". After all this time that phrase has finally borne fruit so that from this moment forward I've come to believe that anyone who uses this phrase on another human being is in truth asking seriously to be removed from the gene pool. I mean why should the trolls have all the fun ?

But I'm fairly certain I don't need any of this. It's the kind of thing that gets on your fingers & crawls right up your sleeves. Besides, there's enough sugar in my coffee already. There's enough coffee in my shit to raise Annie Oakley from the dead.

Awesome voice
I never heard of her
But I was impressed
cute as a button with a powerful woman's voice.

I checked her out on youtube, kind of strange, she was in some talent show last year.
I don't understand what happened to her. I think she is Australian or some kind of limey. 8)

What the hell do I know about music
She must have won
She sure is pretty in pink
But I liked her singing bluegrass better than pop.

Thx mt. Righteous is still in use by yours truly. Some things were too good to let fall to the ground.

two things I talk about that I should not
no three things,
art, music and poetry.

The song by her was my comment on your digital art. Something sorrowful yet hopeful about it.

Her new version of Man of constant sorrows and that same mixture of sorrow and hope. That is why I thought you might enjoy her version of that old tune.

moving on now
lightning rod says a poet is only as good as his last poem (probably mangled quote from geezer memory)

so might we say the same for an artist.
movin on now
so what the fuck have you done for me lately
just picking and grinnin this morn
just wobbled in to say
once again
tanks for the good art.
