It all seemed so silly to me the dust up over a tweet. People lining up to take sides.
Funny guys I used to think. But I am a sucker for radio. I was raised on radio, maybe the last generation that was not baby sat by TV sets. Laying on the floor in front of a big floor model radio listening to The Inner Sanctum and G Men, as good as it got for us.

Thx for posting that. I ain't heard that song in awhile. I read somewhere once that Mellencamp thought that this song was really stupid and seemed to be nonplussed that it turned out to be one of his biggest hits. I couldn't figure his attitude on that. The piece is so totally American it couldn't have been written anywhere else.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Trucker, it stayed singing in my head all day.
