Dr Doom's Truck Stop

Post by stilltrucking » November 15th, 2009, 9:12 am

Yes it was all there was for me
If you ain't a trucker you ain't shit
the bumper sticker say

miss the roar
the Omnacious roar
it only comes after the first couple million miles
When the slam bang diesel hearted Om reverberates through ever atom of your being
changing you forever
your heart will always vibrate to the sound
it never goes away
you are the sound
your heart beats to a diesel throb

The road was
the road was my life
my refuge
and then left me to die
or at least to find a new life
long time looking for it
found it on another road
a world wide road
snaking through the cyber space

I miss the trucking
I miss the fucking
I see a pregnant woman and I get nauseous
Life must go one
My doom and gloom is my own
Women have faith
No truck no woman
just this got dam keyboard
but it is good enough
thank you

I'd be a traveling gypsy if I could find out how to.

`Do you know, I was so angry, Kitty,' Alice went on...`when I saw all the mischief you had been doing, I was very nearly opening the window, and putting you out into the snow! And you'd have deserved it, you
little mischievous darling!

Just as I used to say

Love comes harder to the aged
because they've been running
on the same old rails too long
and then when the sly switch comes along
they miss the turn
