sleepless

Love,
Love, love, love.
It’s a hard thing, feed by ambrosia when good
And wine when wanting.
The slightest upset causes tremulous emotions
But the bliss of togetherness, what else?
Love,
Right there, sleeping above you,
Yet here you sit awake and alone.
Why?
Can it be she doesn’t care?
NO NO NO NO!
There are pressures in life, unfair to the
Finer emotions.
For those nights was wine created.
Once the stresses of the everyday world
Give way,
What bliss!
Love
In her eyes
In her movement
In her every waking moment
But the nights can be long
Whence the doubts creep in
Foolish, banal, unfounded thoughts
The insecurities of the waking world.
But what is life, if not a dream?
And my dream, of course, is her.
Leave the letter that never begins to go find the latter that ever comes to end, written in smoke and blurred by mist and signed of solitude, sealed of night.

I can so relate to this. And the title fits perfect.

Peace,

It is as if I have been there... Great description!
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
