Pee - I truly think it would be a wise decision for you to create your own discussion board. The phpbb software is free and there are several other open source discussion board software packages which are also free.

Here's what you do... First, you buy a URL name. It only costs $35 a year. Then, you get it hosted and you can do that very inexpensively, like for about $8 a month. Then, install your discussion board and go for it!

You can host whatever you want there with no censorship at all!

what this is about is control: any moron can set up a site, and if he feels somebody is smarter then he (or she), more logical, more informed about literature, they get envious or resentful and then censor and moderate. Asher and his gals did it all the time, and Doe and her cronies do it here.

It's also about control. You're right about that, too. Because I would like to have some semblance of control in my own life and I do not care to hang around with people who insult me or anyone else.

This site is about the arts. Literature is only one art. Believe me, there is not ONE person on this planet who is jealous or envious of you.

I'm making a decision. Here it is.

It has to do with control over my life. I'm sick and tired of moving your posts and reading your insults. I don't need to get insulted in my own home. I don't accept it. And I don't accept you insulting my guests.

I clearly do not have the ability to manage this site to everyone's liking so therefore, I have no other choice but to leave and post elsewhere for a while.

Dor...I must appologise to you for bringing this thing to a head but it was probably for the best as some things can fester and really get infected and an infection can spread.

Now that I know your chart, I also know how very sensitive you are and that you are ruled by your heart. There could be no more caring and loving soul but with that Scorpio moon....folks better watch out! Heh...part of this is jest, of course and you may be in no mood for jesting as the moon is approaching full. Anyway, enough of my astrology shit....I truly hope that you just take a break and come home soon.

As for a certain someone that just loves to be a thorn in everyone's side...I have no problem with him other than he attacks those that don't want to be attacked, such as yourself and I have seen how very cruel he has been to you. I surely don't have any tuck with a fella that likes to hurt others. In fact, you have shown a great deal of patience in dealing with this fella and I am surprised you didn't show him the door sooner. I think he is harmless, kinda like a fly or a bee that wants in your Dr. Pepper. To me he is just an annoyance and I find it hard to take his taunts or him seriously. Only the little cowboys that are wannabe punks try and kiss his ass until he bites them too.

He obviously has no respect for women or their ablilities except for what nasty things he can infer about them. I find it a little off-putting that some of the men here cut him some slack because they don't always know how to deal with him other than resorting to his tactics . Even though he calls Cec names, Cec respects his writing abilities...this has caused more than one 'interesting' conversation at my house. I on the otherhand, I have no respect for a man that gets his kicks by kicking those who are vunerable or hurting or sensitive. It just sets my teeth on edge when I see that kind of bullying and I am more than willing to take on such a bully because basically....he is just full of hot air among other things and doesn't intimidate me one bit. Any time he faces rules he becomes insulting and has no respect for what others are creating. Not all of us can write or paint or sing or dance like the greats but when someone tries they should at least be allowed to do so without being slammed mercilessly. Just because someone is smart or educated does not mean they have any of what we call 'horse-sense' in these parts and a big head does not mean a great mind. I have been biting my tongue for awhile about this character and finally let fly. He cannot bait me or call me anything that would put me off of your beautiful place, please know that. My guess is that he either has a problem with drink, some woman has spurned him or his mother beat the shit outta him...who knows but he?

I have always found a Flames board useful when you want to rant a bit or unload and hell, no one can be enlightened at all times not even a master. If maintaining that space is too much of a burden, it is certainly understandable but I am sorry that it has to come to that...

I plan on sticking around anyway it works out with my occasional hiatus and btw, thanks for the haiku board....it is the perfect peaceful place for me. If I have to rant, I will try and keep it to a low roar.

Here's yr writing lesson for the day: substantiate your points with some examples. Where have I insulted those "who are vunerable or hurting or sensitive"?
