I'll keep my eyes peeled
but need a better glimpse of your
persona.
A blue fedora?
A cowgirl hat of felt?
something multi-cultural
a Bolivian bowler with rainbow band?
surely a complete brim or else why bother?
How about a green gaucho?
You can do the flamenco a gogo
You a poco loco yerself ya know-oh?

Unruly curls yer lockets
but yer lips curls
rockets an dockets
in orbits of jasmine and bitters
whiskey sweet.

Yeah ya need a hat
ta soothe ya.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.

I said a cowgirl hat.
Complex or not,
I see a simple
stetson to frame your
smile.

yeah.. the gender makes it different. but as long as there's a cow ahead of it, it ain't gone end with nothing but a lot of bullshit. Hehe. I know, I know. A terrible attempt at humor. I'll stgop now, and just spin around and get drunk or summat.

I got a poem fer ya by
Phillipina poetess
Jessica Haggedorn
about a cowgirl skirt and such
she flushed it all down the drain of illusions
will find it.
You are right, a fedora
or a gaucho
or a wide brim
like T-Rex
somethin to chill in.

A hat for Chicago lady.

your hats in the ring
there is always another go round
life of a rodeo clown
get one of those little Jewsish beanies

or you could wear a doo rag like David Allen Coe

so I have another smoke because it gets me high
but got dam the the pusher man
got to go buy some coffin nails

Yeah watching someone fall on their ass is always funnier when it is their ass, not yours.

Jessica Hagedorn
http://www.english.uiuc.edu/maps/poets/ ... gedorn.htm
Sorcery

there are some people i know
whose beauty
is a crime.
who make you so crazy
you don't know
whether to throw yourself
at them
or kill them.
which makes
for permanent madness.
which could be
bad for you.
you better be on the lookout
for such circumstances.

stay away
from the night.
they most likely lurk
in the corners of the room
where they think
they being inconspicuous
but they so beautiful
an aura
gives them away.

stay away
form the day.
they most likely
be walking
down the street
when you least
expect it
trying to look
ordinary
but they so fine
they break your heart
by making you dream
of other possibilities.

stay away
from crazy music.
they most likely
be creating it
cuz
when you're that beautiful
you can't help
putting it out there.
everyone knows
how dangerous
that can get.

stay away
from magic shows.
especially those
involving words
words are very
tricky things.
everyone knows
words
the most common
instruments of
illusion.

they most likey
be saying them.
breathing poems
so rhythmic
you can't help
but dance.

and once
you start dancing
to words
you might never
stop.

So waddya think, Chicago girl? She's worth a look an may inspire ya.

Buddy boy you an me are jokers for sure. I gotta falling story i am gonna post on snippets.
