What vicious freedom these four wheels
that put the lie to my good grace.
It serves ill temper up to deal,
each card a smarmy, angry face.
I set my stinger in his eye,
then gun it towards a winding route.
Expletives trail off passers-by
as he may be in hot pursuit.
Accelerator under foot,
deposit of my displaced stress.
Depressing, it reveals a root
of cowardice, I must confess.

Re: driveby finger
your intent seems pretty clear to me
but I have heard poets say the meaning lies between the poet and the reader
the mystery is how poetry reveals hard truths.
vicious freedom
hell of a line.
I think you just meme'd me
